Bishop is still a top 5 goalie. Rinne... isn't.
- Wetbandit1

Top 5 in the league

Severely underrated player.

Don’t get why he doesn’t get more attention.

- ImThatGuy

And we’d probably get him for very cheap

Why do people want Raanta ? he's hurt all the time. We can do better.
- SABRES 89

He is hurt a lot, and not day-to-day type injuries, either.
Should try to get Kuemper out of there instead.

I think we’d all be happy with that
Might cost a lot though

Why?
Patch is a really good player

- jdfitz77

Why raanta over kuemper? Same cap hit basically, kuemper is a year younger, kuemper had better stats
- turbo044

Their stats are close enough, one will cost a lot more than the other.

He will be 32 to start next season,
but he still looked pretty damn good to me last year
The 3 more years doesn’t worry me so much
He’d also be essentially free to get

I get your concerns,
but I’d bet they fade away once u see him playing for us

Kuemper isn’t injury prone & is clearly better
There’s a good reason he’d cost more

What? Bishop is one of, if not the best goalie in the league right now. Cant really think of anyone i would absolutely want over him in net.

He’s good, but turns 34 in a month
And has a partial (10 team) NTC,
so who knows if he’d even come here?

Vaseleski
Price
Hart
Hellibuck
Rask

Off the top if my head.

Someone's got a bishop for bishop ☝️

Yes.

2nd in Vezina voting last year, got votes for the Hart as well, an all-star this year playing through injury and still posted above average numbers.

Bishop is good
His age (34 in a month) makes me a bit nervous
But he’d be a clear upgrade over what we have

I honestly don’t think their are really top elite goalies in the nhl right now or the standard has been lowered

Vaselesky is on an all star team. Put him in the Sabres. It’s not the same Same can be said about the others

Like a 4-5 years ago. Price Henrik were top 2 locked as the top goalies

Ullmark had very good numbers 5v5. If we fix the pk ullmark is as good as the retreads mentioned tonight.

Fair enough, I'm gonna change my mind and agree with you.

I looked a little closer at the stats. 3 time vezina nominee.

👍
