Still have 2 big decisions remaining: Sign or trade Strome and or D'Angelo.
- TommyGTrain

one or two year deals for both seem like the way they go at this point

I don't think either player makes sense to sign long term, that's for sure

if they want to try Tony D on the left side that's fine, but I'd rather see how he does first before I commit to him long term to him, plus if all goes well you want Lindgren and K'Andre on the left side, and then a whole slew of other names like Robertson, Hajek, Zac Jones, Reunanen, Rykov have shots still

yeah, the overall point is though, there are a lot of young prospects so I am not sure if a long term contract with Tony D makes sense

definitely curious to see what happens with Tyler Johnson on waivers at noon

some conspiracy theories floating around that Ottawa or Detroit will take him and then trade him back to Tampa and keep half the cap hit

Hope he gets a shot and makes something of it this time. That's a pretty hefty salary for the minors, isn't it? Good for him.

if Bruins miss out on Taylor Hall perhaps theyd turn to Strome

Joe Haggerty
@HackswithHaggs

The Bruins are in the Taylor Hall bidding w/offer on a shorter term deal. He makes sense as a RW goal scorer able to finish off plays that can fit w/either Krejci or Coyle. But I’d pass on him if I were the Bruins. A career underachiever that might not mesh w/the B’s core group

After construction of the Rangers roster, watching what Tampa does is going to be the most interesting part of this off season.

Jack Johnson isn’t listed either but Bitteto and Rooney are. I wouldn’t read to much into it

I still can’t believe not that they signed him but he was the priority on day one of free agency lol

Either is Fast. Seems like something to do with free agency status, but it is interesting that Georgiev and DeAngelo are listed.

I just thought they would try to find a better option for the left side. Right now Smith/Johnson/Hajek could be 2/3rds of that side if miller isn’t ready
