Sign Wennberg as 3C
Trade Strome
Find another LH D man and bottom 6 depth

If all of this happens then you can package some things together to upgrade at 2C

I still feel like something big will happen. Like trade Deangelo and then offer sheet Sergachev To be the Trouba partner for the next 7 years

I’m all for Wennberg on a cheap deal. And trading Strome

My concern with trading strome is don't want Jagr 2.0.. when we got rid of nylanded Jagr was not the same

Also not sure why Anderson contract is being seen as outrageous when Kreider got 7x45 at 29. Is Kreider that much better? I would argue no.
- mdw7413

I dont really know if its fair to compare them though

Anderson only has 65 career goals, he is being paid for potential and potential only

You don't think Panarin can produce without Strome?

Why I wanted him here.
- mdw7413

Yeah but you guys have enough talent up front that he almost certainly wouldn't have been playing with him. I guess you're kind of thin at RW but I have to assume the hope is that Kakko improves and Panarin-Zib-Kakko is your first line. 7 years is kind of rough for him. No idea if that's what the player dug in for or that's what the Habs wanted...but I think the Rangers could probably do better on a short-term deal with a better player given all their cap space.

Someone like Hoffman would make an already high-end offense absolutely ridiculous. Toffoli would be a good add too, he plays a heavy game and can certainly put the puck in the net plenty.

I don't know, both wingers, both are supposed to play the same style of play. Kreiders career high in goals 28, Anderson 27.

Yea he could be a piece in that, Wennberg could open up a lot of opportunities

Id be down for that... if Vegas wants TDA so bad, Id include Chytil and a kicker for Karlsson.

I guess I have high hopes for Anderson and maybe its clouding my judgment but him and Panarin were amazing together. I also love he steam rolls anything and can score. Defensively responsible too.

According to Brooksie, JD and a Gorton may as well go fishing today. What a downer, he’s been in this job too long.
