Listen, it’s moot. Fast is gone, and you’re right, the team won’t fold cause he’s gone. Let’s see how the remainder of the offseason plays out.

there's absolutely no reason for you to have that attitude about Kravstov

if he fails as an NHLer then it's one of worst things Rangers have ever done

they have to give this kid a chance to succeed in the NHL, it's imperative

Ok. I’m willing to see what he’s got, but I don’t want to see or hear about any drama. BTW, It won’t be the worst thing, Andersson was drafted 7th. Lol.

Hasn’t shown me anything yet, my sense he’s another overly sensitive Russian, who is used to being king of the hill, won’t happen in the NHL. If he makes the team, let him play 4th line minutes until they see what he is.

This is a bad take for a lot of reasons

Fast thing kinda sucks but the reasons mentioned here make sense. Lots of turnover with the team leadership.

Just caught up to this point now. Just settling in after a big holiday meal.

Not thrilled. I get that they have potential to look for in the youth. But, you can’t tell me they are a better team next season with whoever is at 4C over Fast. $2 million isn’t an overpayment for a fouthliner, elite PKer, team alternate captain.
I’d even move on from Gautier to keep a spot for him at that price. And I like Gautier.

BINGO!

Pretty pumped about Fast. He's gonna be great on the 3rd line with J.Staal and Foegele.

None of the Lightning players opted for arbitration!

1) That means offer sheets for their RFA's ( Cernak, Cirelli and Sergachev ) are still in play
and
2) Tampa does NOT get a second buyout period

Quickie is going to fit your team quite well. Great signing, sad to see him go but we just don't have room for him anymore.

But you think a guy (Gauthier)who hasn’t scored a goal for the rangers is a 1st goal scorer

His pedigree says he's a goal scorer. Goal scorers need the puck in spots were they can score provided by a player who can set him up. Is Strome a goal scorer, or a product of playing with the best playmaker in the league? Gauthier, has played on the 4th line, where hes expected to grind, not a recipe for success. If there is no plan to utilize his skills properly, and if he was just someone to take back in the Skej deal, there’s no point in keeping him on the team, as everyone says, they have too many forwards.

Gauthier has the tools to be a scorer, he didn't play a ton of minutes, I see him as a very nice 3rd line scorer
