Don’t believe our goaltending will be a problem. Getting this group to commit to a defensive structure is the key. It’s starts with the stars and goes all the way to the bottom. They have all the offence they need. Just NEED to buy in.

Looks like the game plan is To keep the opposing teams down to 4 or 5 goals against and just score 6 every night. Won’t work here any better than it did in Leaf Land.

Edmonton has Barrie for $1.75m more than what he cost the Leafs, and he was terrible. Maybe he can turn it around in Edmonton, but I know their fans are just as ruthless as ours in Toronto so he probably fails just as bad. Overall, bad pickup for Edmonton, unfortunately. I want to see all the Canadian franchises perform well, so I really wish he’d gone south of the border.
