Might as well phone it in anyway. Marchand is out 4 months and Pasta is out 5 months after surgeries.

. There is the Bruin fan that we love to mock! Season in months away and she is already making excuses and bailing out.

So they were "playing through" these injuries against Tampa?

Sounds like Bruins are heavily in the mix on Hoffman. He’s looking for a 1 yr 6 mil.
Is that worth it? I say do it and figure out the rest later. Ideally maybe 5.25 mil

What does that give them 5-6 mil left for Debrusk and Gryz. Interesting to see what Gryz gets in arbitration. I don’t think 5 gets it done for those two. Some more money will need to be cleared out. Perhaps they can ship out Ritchie, Bjork or my gawd John Moore. Why did Sweeney sign him again?

My issue with Hoffman is the potential problems in the room associated with his baggage.

And there's the female dog that's afraid to attach a team to her name...

Knew about Pasta's issue, but didn't know about Marchy. They all play through "something" during playoff hockey. Pasta's issue (underlying) has apparently been there for a while now.

Yes he left Ott on bad terms I remember.
History tells me Don won’t pay that kind of money for Hoffman and land him.
Plan C now.... hahahah. what is that?
or that is Plan A all along for Don... Krejci drives the bus with inept wingers. Maybe a full season with Kase could develop into something. He was brought in to be the guy 2line RW...

Good question, no idea what the backup to the backup plan is. Don't know that I would be willing to go $6M for a one dimensional player like Hoffman. Add in the baggage and I'm a pass.

I feel the same way.
I think he’ll land in a spot where he can be more relied upon and more PP time if he’s wanting to sign for 1 year.
