Avs are in amazing position. They do have to budget for future raises though. I think they should’ve given Hall the same offer Buffalo did or maybe even beat them by 500K.

I haven’t heard them mentioned at all. Only Vegas, and some rumblings that the Blues might still try to make it work if they can dump contracts(lol good luck). NJ has also been mentioned since they have a decent chunk of cap space I believe.

Maybe not landing OEL made the point the team won't have the stud defenseman needed to push the current group over so why invest in Vets long term. Let them go bring in the prospects and hunt for a trade for a young RFA D or pick one up in expansion protection looks to be the direction.
