Canucks can only buyout if 4m or more - Nighthawk
The player being bought out has to be 4 million or more, not the arbitration award.
Looks like Sutter is the odd-man out. |

Some live for their narratives and drama. Its okay. It makes fleshing out reason more of a challenge and you can learn something along the way as well. I think we all can gain from taking in different perspectives.
Most probably have varied sides in how they want to react to what we want to see the Canucks doing. For example, losing a liked UFA in TT you can say f@ck that sucks and stay there or take a second and try to see why it makes sense and bang you get Nate in a steal of a trade.
Its good to see when things fall into place then most recognize that and approve before going back to their positions. - NuckUp

you are doubling down now on the strounzo reaction to being so wrong that you go to the biggest BS you can think of; why are you constantly agitated? Take a chill pill find someone Covid friendly and shoot your load off. Things will settle in there are good Canuck scenarios on the horizon. |

I thought his agent had said he is good to go but couldn't find. Found this from a van reporter on Sept 24th: "Also not on this list is Micheal Ferland, who is ineligible to be bought out given heâs currently injured."

Yeah good find remember reading that it was another clue to the insurance issue and Canucks not having him on LTIR. Why I'm saying its too bad Canucks can't get Ferland /LE off cap until season starts to get more deals.
So if they have a shot at getting someone else like a Cernack then probably they spend futures as a sweetner to move out cap like Sutter. Which is easier term for another team to accept. |

I believe the best thing is if he goes to arbitration, at least it keeps the 2nd buyout option available.
He will get 3.2 in arbitration. |

If that is the case a Sutter buyout is...
1st yr 2.04m
2nd yr 1.167m
I donât see it hitting 3m as in settled. |

Another option is that they don't have to sign Gaudette. He can't be offer sheeted and has no arb so they can leave him on the QO until the season starts. Then shuffle the cap deck.
