absolutely. a lot will depend on if players want to stay or not.
like I said, they'll have 9M (maybe more if Byron is gone) to extend their UFAs. let say 3M to Gally and 2.5M to Danault, that leaves 3.5M to extend either Tatar, and or Armia, and or Lekhonen.

That's without counting the player they'll lose to Seattle but yeah, sounds about right.

Hopefully we get young players to replace more costly options.

that's counting they'll save 3.5M with Allen (replaced by Primeau), 3.5M with Edmundson (SEA), and 2M with Alzner.

that would leave them with enough $$ to bridge kk and keep the others at the same price. which I would not do. some will go imo.

they should lose Tatar, but be able to keep all the others is that's what they want.
they may decide to let go Armia and or Lekhonen, but not because they don't have the $$. (or keep Tatar but lose Armia and Lek)
Allen gone, Edmundson gone, Alzner drops. 9M to extend Gally Danault Armia and Lek. should be ok

- fidopro

I would rather keep Edmundson than Lekhonen

Really nice signing for the Habs, the top 9 is looking very solid. Should keep Danault happy, he'll be playing with some solid wingers no matter what his role is on the team.
