I’ve read somewhere that Broberg has already surpassed Bouchard as the Oilers top prospect. What’s your take on that? Any truth to it?

I haven’t seen enough of Broberg to say for certain.

What I have seen of him is impressive though. Far more impressive than I thought he’d be.

He's showing well. The past couple games have seen his minutes dip a bit, but it's tough to say that it's a result of an poor play on his part. Most of his points have been on the PP, but he's holding the fort well at even strength (only been on for 3 goals against in 9 games, iirc) and has even been flexing his puck-rushing more regularly. We'll see how he carries on through the season, but early signs are positive for a June birthday, 19 year old Dman.
