Sure, we all know it, but Canucks ownership and management need to be shamed into it....#fanpressure - Pacificgem
I like it. If Aquilini feels enough heat he will do the right thing |

It’s like Canuck GMs wear horse blinders sometimes. |

For months you've been going on about signing TT. Now he left you are so sore you've been in full troll mode. You realize it was all about term. Flat cap has changed the calculations. They will have a young core they need to take care of later so they can't commit to term under flat cap. It is what it is as much as we liked TT for now he's not the future. - NuckUp
The guy took less money and term than was discussed even after we knew the cap was flat.
You can't blame losing a top six winger and a top 10 starting goalie on Covid when LE, Beagle, Sutter, Roussel are still on the roster. |

Covid made it more possible to resign TT. It didn’t work out costing Madden & a 2nd but saved us a 4th. Covid also made it tougher league wide to dump any contracts. |

So for the anti-benning crowd, Harvey drafted any successful players from this draft not jb. Just in case. |

Nah if we are giving out term we need some damn speed in our lineup - CanuckDon
Vegas still needs to shed salary, JV for Tuch? do we have another 3rd?
I imagine Benning is waiting by his phone waiting for McCrimmon to phone.

Trade a 3rd line player @ possibly $3-$3.25, for a 3rd line player @ $4.75...something Benning might do. |

Well Tuch is more likely to excel next to Elias than Jake is |

Or maybe they should just go with what they got and play the younger wingers in those top winger spots. |

Boeser and LE gone opens 12m in cap next season, is Laine that much better then Boeser... probably. - Pres.cup
Is Laine better than Boeser? Ya, a bit. Is Laine better than the deal it would take to get him, the deal to get rid of LE, and his next contract? No.
You'd have to think it'd be Boeser + prospect + 1st for Laine. Then LE + 1st to Ottawa, since Winnipeg doesn't have the cap to take both. Then Laine would be getting 8+ mil next season.
Just not worth it. |

Boeser ain't going anywhere. One of JB's golden picks they will see how he shapes out here. Next big move will be for another Dman and to replace the loss of Toffioli |

I could see him getting moved next year. His qualifying offer on his next contract starts at 7.5 mil, which is a lot if he's not hitting that 30 goal level. |

With what is looking like another shortened season, he won't be getting 30 this upcoming season either.
With the state of the world right now and into next season, it will be interesting to see if some of these teams can survive without gate revenue.
If 3 or 4 teams can't make it, it would, or could lead to some form of dispersal draft, which would put some extra talent in the pool for other teams and maybe even eliminate some of these AHL calibre players that most teams have to use to fill their rosters. |

He'll get there is Green uses him properly. Keep the 649 line together and roll with it. If he bounces Boeser up and down the lineup he will struggle. |

Brock scored 29 goals in 62 games, playing with Bo. If Green decides to move him to Bo's line,I am fine with that, as long as Jake gets put on the Miller line. |
