Don't speak for me, speak for yourself. Besides not getting space, he's not tough on the puck, the player, not high energy. There are more flaws to his game than just being unspectacular. Hall is going to make Reinhart Mr more Insignificant on this team. No longer top line player, no longer starting OT, we'll see if he is 1st line PP., fewer minutes. But this is all good because the team will be upgraded, hopefully in these areas if that happens so better for the team. Who cares about the decrease Sam will take, it's all about the team.

I'm not a Sam lover I'm a Sabres fan. And if you think VO is a good 5v5 player, I can't tell you what you're watching. What I saw from him was an elite shot from the right wall on the PP. Other then that, he was getting outscored by 3rd liners 5v5, and was a defensive liability. Could he correct it? Sure. But sorry to tell you this, even with Hall, Sam is still our second best winger today.
