That ice wasn't the best at the Nike Base, tore my MCL in a crack there. - Buff36
I played at the Nike Base. I loved the Cheektowaga Rink whatever it was called. It was much warmer and nicer. Sabreland was kind of a dump too as was Holiday Twin Rinks, I liked the Tonawanda Rinks and Niagara Falls Hyde Park?

I’m 43 and my karate instructor taught him how to fight. Bobby Orr was his manager back then and hey would train in my sensei’s basement. Sensei used to be a big CFL Star for the Montreal Allouets. Anyways when I saw Joey T at the GTs Beach Bar when I was 25 or so, he was with his boys. The guy was f-ing A huge and had a curly blonde mullet.
Can’t say anything bad about the guy. People in St. Thomas love the guy and know him from back in the day. Spends a lot of time bonong his Swedish wife or whatever so doesn’t come back to St. t that much any more. But being in TO he could.

I played in the Pepsi Tournament back when I played high level hockey when I was a kid.
Was there a Pepsi twin arena? I remember Wheatley being a team and all the moms had fur coats. Like mink. |

I sucked bad. I didn't hit my growth spurt until my junior year of high school. I was like 5'2" 100 pounds when I finished playing as a freshman. But I tried real hard like Zemgus Girgensons which is all that matters |

I was good except was a terrible skater. I didn’t start ice skating until 10.
I got hands man. But skate like Reinhart on one leg |

new guys in
hall, staal, cozens, tage, casy, rieder, eakin
out
larsson, kahun, vesey, johansson, simmonds, frolik
This is excellent, problem is:
2019/2020 goalies: ullmark & Hutton
2020/2021 goalies: ullmark & Hutton
Love The Hall signing but trading for Kuemper would have an even bigger impact
has to be better - homiedclown

I was a below average skater, slightly above average hands, but with a good hockey IQ and always worked my ass off. Which all amounted to me being able to be an average player on any team i played on. All that said, I was a much better coach than I ever was a player. IMO skills/success on the ice have little correlation to success behind the bench and your general understanding of the game. Guys like me with below average skills/instincts always had to be a student of the game to be relevant.

I started skating at 39, can’t shoot, can’t stop, can barely skate, don’t fall as much as I used to and I love annoying goalies....
I think I’d be... Taro Tsujimoto |

Decent skater with a weird stride, hands like a statue with the ability (luck) to pick a corner or go bar down once every five goals. I actually have a true center from B-Lo who I love playing with and can't wait to get back to beer league. |

I still play beer league and I’m an average player when we play age appropriate teams (I’m 47), as it’s a decent pace. But we sometimes play teams with all 20 year olds. Not fun. We get our asses kicked and I can barely get out of bed the next morning. Must be like being a Sabre 2012 to present. Hey-ooooo.

Are we posting what our own scouting reports would be??
Mine:
Great straight away speed but a tad shaky on his edges with the puck
Terrible shot but a great passer
High hockey IQ and not afraid to take a beating in the dirty areas.
Average hands at best.
Would make a great coach but better official |

Good point sir.
Unfortunately at this point it’s a mistake when he gets it right.
That’s how infrequent his successes are.
However he gets the last laugh as he makes money off of us posting on his website. - Pegullaville
Let's not forget "King Alex: Kings Win Draft Lottery" something like that.
And you're absolutely right, we all keep coming back, what's that say about us? |

Yeah, at 60 I can't hang with the kids, I need my line mates. Then we're pretty good. |

I played with a guy back in college (club). Guy was solid, could skate like the wind but had stone hands. He was a part time AHL linesman! I give props to you officials, it’s easy to make/criticize calls from the stands/couch but not so easy to make them on the ice as the play happens. I could never do it. |
