Good news
- Bill's are 4-2 , where many thought they would be before the season started
- Josh has played several really very good games, looks more accurate
- Offense has a couple really good players added in WR's Diggs and Davis
- Moss, when healthy looks like he belongs, should be better once he gets more action
- punter coming along, improving his game
Bad News
- Defense has been pretty bad in run and passing game
game
- Josh has had a couple of rough games...who is he?
- Injuries keep stacking up to key personnel, rather than depth personnel, on O-line, WR, TE, DB, LB and DL
- depth players, especially on D just aren't good enough.
McBean has work to do, assuming Milano can come back sooner than later, their biggest need is on the Dline to contain the run (those run gaps were 10 yards wide) especially, and to apply pass rush pressuring the QB up the middle.
Only 2 weeks left to make moves. Get on the Bat Phone, stat! - IonSabres
Josh Allen is who he is and, i believe, he still has plenty of upside. The biggest issue with him seems to be adrenaline that causes him to overthrow his receivers. The o-line to me is fine and will get better as the year goes on.
As for the d? Needs some work, to say the least |

Well sure, Josh is who he is...the question is, what Is he?
70% completion passer as seen 1st 4 weeks, or the 55% the last 2?
This is NOT to hang it all on Josh...far from it, just a honest question.
Will the Real Josh please stand up.
The frustrating part is he poop the bed on national TV 2 weeks in a row..observers walk away with the down-side impression...too bad really. |

Who gives a poop. Josh will be awesome, and maybe it takes some time. He's had to prove it since he was in high school. Circle the (frank)ing wagons, and onto the Jets.

I think the Bills proved, over the past two weeks, that they are in that "2nd tier" of teams in the AFC. Kansas City, Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Tennessee are all in that top tier. Buffalo, Cleveland and New England are in that 2nd tier. Unfortunately, with the way the playoffs are structured now, that doesn't get you a home playoff game anymore.

I have no doubt whatsoever that they will win the AFC East.
Winning a game in the playoffs is the huge question mark at this point. I have grave doubts.
Did anyone get the feeling that KC was holding back a little, and could have kicked it into a higher gear if needed?
Perhaps that's just my eternal pessimism kicking. Hey, I'm a Bills and Leafs fan - you'll have to pardon me for always assuming the worst. |

I don't know. The Bills were playing the pass all night. It reminded me of a Patriots game about 7 or 8 years ago where Brady didn't throw much and I think it was Stevan Ridley ran all over them. After the game, Brady said "they kept putting little people in" so they just kept running the ball. That seemed to be what happened last night.
As far as playoffs go, it's still a long season, and there's a trade deadline still coming up. We'll have to see what that brings. |

That’s exactly what happened.
However there has to come to a point where push comes to shove and they win a few of those matchups with a light box and somebody makes a play.
Also getting off the field on 3rd down |

I'm not excusing it. They just guarded against "the big play" all night, and they were successful in preventing that. They just didn't prevent much of anything else.

Took the "run" out of the titans and Henry
Took the "pass" out of the chiefs and mahomes
Clearly what belicheat would do.
Make teams beat you a different way.
Problem is they didnt have enough average qb play, a strong run game and great defense. |

Players under pressure always revert back to old mechanics and things that their bodies are just flat out used to. Its muscle memory.
Josh Allen has done that the last 2 games. He has sailed deepballs 10 ft too far JUST LIKE LAST YEAR.
The EASY Beasley drag route he missed yesterday in the 3rd quarter was down right awful.
Also Josh Allen absolutely sucks at reading zone coverage. Titans and Chiefs ran a ton of zones and cloud flats for dump offs. He does know how to torch man coverage aka good play calling my Daboli with certain routes that burn man coverage.

Yeah the division winners will still be the 1-4 seeds and they just added an extra wild card.
It took me a little bit to find information on how the seedings worked.
Win the division and get a home playoff game. However you could very well be playing a team with a better record since there are now 3 wild card teams, I would say it's almost a guarantee to happen in both conferences. The NFC East division winners might not even be .500 and the AFC East is looking like a 9-7 division winner or 10-6.

You are right, Allen is not good against zone coverages. He turned into captain check down. The last two weeks, the Bills offense went back to the early 2019 offense. Which is not going to get it done.
Two horrible throws to start the game and a ball that went off of Browns facemask (he didn't catch a ball all game) and Josh fell apart.
The Bills are in that second tier of teams in the AFC...bad turnovers against the Titans and absolutely no rhythm last night. Say what you want about the Bills defense last night, but I am pretty sure anybody would have taken only giving up 13 points at the half.
The Bills offense couldn't stay on the field and when they did it was penalties that helped keep them on the field...They had one drive where they looked like a real offense and that was in the 4th when the game was pretty much over. The two bright sides where punting and our return game had a nice bounce back game...
They are 4-2 but man they have work to do, and besides the Jets this Sunday, the schedule turns UGLY |

I agree with 80% of the post, the exception being your first paragraph.
When teams are playing a lot of zone then he would need to find the seams in the zone and a majority of them are within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage.
Crossing routes, quick ins, hooks that all require the receivers settling in spots.
Teams are forcing Allen to revert to the checkdowns, and until the Bills find success in the checkdown game teams will continue to force them to have to beat them with the running and short passing game. |

And I know I give Allen a lot of poop. But if we had an average running game (not including Allen running)
Defenses wouldn’t be able to sit back in those zones.
I think singletary is not very good as a featured back. I think he could be an Austin eckler type back. Screens and the random run here and there
I weirdly enough likes yeldon when he played. He hit the holes hard running the ball |

I think better run blocking up front would help too.
He is often forced to make one guy miss even before he gets back to the line of scrimmage.
I think that’s a combination of scheme and personnel that they will have to get fixed.

Well if they had any semblance of a running game and could use play action would go along way to helping disrupt that zone coverage. I believe weeks 1-4 they were second in the league using play action, behind the Titans, that fell apart the last 2 weeks. |
