I’m honestly thinking they are using the arbitration date as a deadline then to basically squeeze a 2-3 year deal out of both Olofsson and Reinhart at a more favourable cap hit.

Can’t see Olofsson getting as much as Kubalik.

Also Mangiapane came in at $2.4M which is highway robbery for Calgary.

So I settled on $3.25M for Olofsson, as he will probably use the Kubalik contract as the main comparison

I think you think I'm this massive Sam Reinhart fan. You'd be incorrect, but that's not to say I can't provide an unbiased opinion for his skill and impact on the ice, and that his impact on the ice and his linemates is probably worth in the range of 6M.
