so is Cody Eakin.
But you know they have that punch people in the face ability or soemthing like that. - ImThatGuy
It's so funny that you constantly complain about facepunchers
You didnt watch the Stanley up playoffs right?
We have been terrible without facepunchers for years, but your fine with that? Maybe try some grittiness?
Obviously krueger understands the game and that guy is gonna cry about physical players?
Try something else? Like be tough to play against? |

NO i constantly gripe at people who think facepunching is still relevant in the NHL. Its super prevalent in the "blue collar" city that is Buffalo.
Also Cody Eakin is not hard to play against.
The other team has the puck more and scores more when he is on the ice.
He's bad at well, everything. |

I think the difference in our ages may distort a point of view?
At 25 years old, you probably do not remember the 1st 10 years of brady as well?
Comparing the last 10 years may distort the overall legacy? Or maybe it doesn't?
Maybe those other guys didnt make their team "better" as much as brady?
Not sure anyone else would say that rodgers or brees are the greatest outside of those areas? Geater than brady? Maybe I'm wrong? They are both top 5's for sure. - Boss34
I think it will be something that is debated forever.
It’s all down to personal preference and perception of the individual.
I won’t argue Brady being the best of all time as he very well may be.
I think you can make a case for Brees and Rodgers being better than Brady in the respective era with Peyton being right there as well.
I’m just happy I got to watch all four.

I'd be pretty surprised if Kane is useful for the entirety of his contract.
Backes died at 33. Lucic died at 29. Kesler died at 34. Simmonds died at 30. Benn is 31 and already falling off. Ovi still going, amazingly at 34. Getzlaf started to die at 32.
Kane is 29 now and has 5 seasons left. We'll see how he holds up, but power forwards start to come apart in their early 30s. |

I have taken a few steps back lately
way too many personal attacks from a few posters on a few posters
pretty sure they would never do it to the other's face
literally the board is more like a teenage basement lately then a blue collar hockey town - homiedclown
I personally haven't said anything on this message board that I wouldnt say directly to your face.
%1,000 in fact
As for Barry Sanders or walt peyton.
I'm not sure if the rb position could ever be the greatest ever football player ever? Seems like qb is more important to a team?
*just a statement or an opinion
QB'S do make the most $, get drafted higher and get most of the glory. |

Even the non-believers are believing he'll spend money on his players.
Brandon Davidson and Casey Nelson are good vets to have with Samuelsson, Laaksonen, Bryson, Borgen (maybe?) and Fitzgerald. A guy names Ryan Jones is also there.

So you didn't watch the playoffs and you have no idea what's needed to win in the nhl?
I wish everyone would just admit this. Saves a lot of time, and gives you time to understand hockey 😀
Are cody eatkids , reider or the new defensemen facepunchers? I think they are checking role players not goons?
But you be thatguy |

I’m hoping bringing in Nelson and having Borgen who is ready for the NHL means maybe both Risto and Montour are packing their poop.
Wishful thinking though |

What do Backes, Lu, Kesler, Simmonds, etc all have in common?
They all play a heavy game.
Kane does not. Huge difference on the body, huge difference in longevity. |

You are right I didnt watch, but you know what wins in todays NHL, elite talent.
not overpaying below level replacement players.
Eakins, Reider, etc are Girgensons, Larsson, Wilson, just in different name.
There is a reason these guys change teams 8-10 times in their career. They are replaceable. |

Terry is a fan. If he can spend money to make his team better, he will.
With all the disinformation around here, I think "lean" and "internal cap of 70 million " I bet to differ.
The pegula's cut payroll , scouts and people who basically weren't doing a "specified" job.
Lean front office , fat fan payroll |

Again, you didnt even watch, but you know more than me in regards to how the Stanley cup is won.
It was a extremely physical playoffs that neither you or crags would have any idea about.
Tampa added toughness and got over the hump.
We are trying to do the same.
Scott wilson is not cody eatkids.
Please stop responding, as you have no idea/knowledge to even form a base arguement. 👍

Sexual assault allegations/ being a bad teammate probably have nothing to do with ek9 moving on.
I just learned that you can replace one guy with a different name and it's all the same.
You're better than this taco
You realize there was more to ek9 leaving |

My post was solely about me questioning his current contract and him being able to provide its value throughout.
You've been dropping a lot of assumptions on me today Boss, and it hasn't panned out well.

Excellent post taco
I'm looking beyond the numbers on paper.
It's easy to read the scoring leaders and put him wherever he falls.
The eichel factor is real man, it's super real.
I'm forming an opinion based on watching sam play hockey for the past 6 years. It's ok to disagree.
Sam is a part of this team, and just like everyone else, he should be paid for HIS play.
Just hoping the Sabres do not pay him more than his individual worth. - Boss34
Do u dock all the other “top line players” that play with really good centers??
Bc that would be about 75% of them, right?
At least 50%
Is Jerry Rice not the best WR of all time bc he had Montana & Young as his QBs?
Your “Eichel” argument ONLY (kinda) works in a vacuum sir,
bc it only makes sense if other centers aren’t also helping other RWs they play with
But we all know that happens with just about every team |
