You just can't see beyond the rainbow and showers of glitter. At least you're in a happy place.
Have a beautiful Sunday afternoon. - Marwood
Just because I'm giving facts, doesn't make the reality of you being at the woodpile, a glitter world concept on moving on from Ferland, like the Canucks did with Malhotra. |

I agree, yes the player (Eriksson) can be sent to Utica, doesn't solve $6,000,000.00 (for Don) in usable cap space. Also if Ferland has been medically cleared to play there is absolutely nothing the Canucks can do other than waivers, again certainty not $9.5 in usable cap space.
Can an MTA happen, sure it can, is it likely, about as likely as the meteor that is to brush earth the day before the US election, ending the world as we know it. - Makita
I agree on Ferland. They could easily go to the league and show his history with concussions and LTIR him now for his own good. 3 in one season is alot, with each pretty much happening within a couple days of returning to play. |

That was for Ferland. Two players mentioned in LE and Ferland with 2 different solution paths that Canucks have more control over then trades. |

No I never said end of month you don't comprehend well being on all that kool-aid. It was plan B waiting on Tryamkin and prospects that is by then LE would be gone. That would be well into the next season.
What is not being grasped is that the easier moves for the Canucks are the ones they can control more. They can't control trades it involves multiple variables. Dealing with a player's status to play is in their hands. That is why when you can move 9.5M off cap its not a hard choice for them to pursue. - NuckUp
See below... I'll bold the areas where you've contradicted yourself for easier reading compression.
Interesting narratives coming out in the second version of the silly season.
Anyway good to know that Carol agrees until the month finishes with all the arb cases we won't see much more movement anywhere. After those pieces are resolved teams will know what they have cap wise to move players or sign new ones lingering out there.
Believe at that point JB makes a cap move to go for another D and F though you'd think plan B is waiting on prospects and Tryamkin. By then LE should be gone and the LTIR situation cleared up. - NuckUp
So, to reiterate, you said, until the month ends we won't see much movement.
You then say, at that point JB, goes after another F or D.
You then say, by that point LE should be gone and the LTIR situation cleared up.
So, using English grammar and the standard lineal time line, you say, after this month is over(so by next month), JB will go after more players but before then (this month)LE should be gone and the LTIR situation cleared up.
Complicated time line but you clearly articulate that LE will be gone by next month to which I responded, good luck with that not gonna happen.
Anyways..... I'm gonna let this English lesson end and give you a thumbs up, not looking to argue but I'm right and you probably just wrote it wrong, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you'll agree and we can move on.

If his doctors clear him, and the team doctors can't find anything wrong with him, I don't think they'll be able to LTIR him. The league might agree with them, but the NHLPA would go pretty crazy I assume. |

I come here for the Canuck hockey talk and stay for the idiocy. Why quit when we all aren't at retirement age needing a break. Even though we act like it soiling ourselves over who knows better what the Canucks should do |

You don't understand the CBA or other things.
Sorry, I know I just said I'd assume you agree with me but I can tell that you just don't get it.
The Canucks can't magically make LE and Ferland go on LTIR, waiving them only frees up 1m each, not 9.5m.
Manny almost lost an eye.... what happened to LE? |

I don't think you are getting the simple concept was it is more in their control to deal with these 2 players then make trades to clear cap.
Also, Malhotra is perfect example of LTIR move that player didn't want and can be made for Ferland in multiple concussions. Brain injuries more serious today.
Plus its not a dream or mine its a perfectly legitimate option forcing LE off the team by waiving. With an AHL season, at some point he's gone. That is where you get the eventual cap savings. Its not an instant solution but one that can come about as soon as in season.
The ultimate objective of getting the $9.5 off cap is a much easier road of control then trying to make trades of them or move Sutter and Beagles' 7M cap. That is the reward vs control factors that make it much more probable then other options. - NuckUp
Sounds like Vtel with all the cap isn't a problem....
I feel like I'm piling on, but it's so easy and you're so wrong. |

You moved one concept in former paragraph of inactivity until arb period is over into a second concept. This one being the plan B which was introduced by the word "though" that is not a connecting word. In that switch to using Tryamkin coming over, where common knowledge is not until well into next season, at earliest. This connects to the "by then introduction" of 2 player resolves. Though any post can be reworded to read better it wasn't a leap to accept my timing was not as next month. Thank you and good day to you too.
DISCLAIMER EDIT. YOU ARE A MORON NOT TO RECOGNIZE THIS IS A SATIRACAL RESPPNSE TO THE STUPID ATTEMPT TO MAKE AN IRRELEVANT POINT. POST EDIT IF YOU DISREGARD THE FACTUAL POSTS ON THE REAL POINTS YOU ARE EVEN MORE STUPID TO RESPOND TO THIS POS POST OF SATIRE. |

Hard to say what the NHLPA will do, also if the team doctors caution against it, they will go by that. Looking at the facts, every time he comes back after saying he is fine, he lasts one game or less and is gone.
I honestly hope he really is fine and we can go with him for 85% of the season instead of getting someone else. He is a difference maker when healthy. But the reality is that he is at the point where literally dying on the ice seems like a possibility because of a concussion. |

Sorry Hank, the $6,000,000.00 was a previous discussion of $6MM, or Just spelling it out, I spelt it out.
You’re pretty good at deciphering riddles and incoherent posts, were is NuckUp getting $9.5MM if Eriksson and Ferland are playing on the Comets as opposed to the Canucks.

Ya, I agree fully. I don't think he should be playing, but if he does I hope he's healthy and lasts the full season. He'd be a great fit in that top 6.
I just don't know how the Canucks will play it – I doubt they're going to force him into LTIR for the season, that's all. If I was guessing, I would say he comes to camp, they evaluate him, MAYBE start him on IR/LTIR to assess further, and then bring him into the fold slowly after 10 games. |
