The guy wasn’t a good announcer at all! Constantly mispronounced names.
But he probably was the better of the ones in the US even if you could stand his nasal pitch. |

FWIW... The Quote Button when used on Eklund's Blog does not function when you enter from the bottom, you must enter from the top, before the first paragraph. I learned this the hard way, and Eklund directed me on how to quote... I guess they cannot correct the bug, which I believe has been here since they changed Platforms. |

Man, I’m not trolling whatsoever when I ask about Logan Brown lol. I liked him entering the draft for the Flyers. Wasn’t smack talking, was genuinely asking about his development since I haven’t heard much. Jeeze, some people man. |

Doc was the best ever! Now John Forslund takes over as the BEST, and it's not even close!
Carolina fans really miss him. His replacement isn't bad, but in comparison Johnny is the BOMB! |

On Logan Brown, he’s progressing, was our first line centre in the AHL last year and did well. Plays a lot with big wingers like Nick Paul, Drake Batherson and Alex Formenton and is good at hitting them with breakaways and transition rushes. Always seems slower but that’s more cause his normal wingers are two of the fastest skaters I’ve ever seen. Has made the NHL and done ok but had a short leash with the coaches. He’s big, lanky and has good hands, very similar to Jason Spezza when he broke in but bigger physically. When he’s trusted, he works wonders but needs confidence and reinforcement to shine.
He’ll be in the NHL full time by next year and likely peak at a 55-65 point centre in 3-4 years |

The late great Dan Kelly was the best that's ever been at announcing hockey and its not even close.

I saw the blog say "Brown in Play" with the image of a Kings player and thought you were suggesting Dustin Brown was in play. I came here to shoot that down.
My mistake, carry on. |

Technically not true. There's no problem with the quote button. The problem is with the URL. If you click into the forum from the bottom, you'll get an extra quote mark at the end of the URL in the location bar. So for this blog, it will say
'https://www.hockeybuzz.com/boards/thread.php?thread_id=168863&forum_id=1"
at the end of the URL. In order to get the quote functionality to work, just delete the quote from the end of the URL and press enter to refresh the page. So it should look like this instead:
Then hit the quote button and it will work correctly. |

Overrated annoying play-by-play guy. I’m probably the only one here but it sounded like a homosexual science teacher calling a hockey game |
