Some people get a woody because players are big, or American, or Swedish hockey league or have offensive skill with no defensive ability, and some people dislike players because they are from BC or Russia, or play major junior, or don't get points in KHl like Kucheriv and Podkolzin.

I dislike players I deem as douchebag, like Tkachuk in Calgary, Kane in San Jose and Tryamkin in KHL and of course Loui.

You have to go back to 2017 and the last player selected to find a 1st round Russian forward selection who's done worse than Podkolzin in the KHL. Klim Kostin (F). 10th vrs 31st.

I am fine with Podkolzin, but, he is now in D+2 season, in his D1 season he had 8 points in 30 games, but more 8mportantly in 4 playoff games he had 3 points.
The kid will be a fine player for us.
