A bust? Was their really ever high expectations? Not every first round pick pans out and I don’t think their was ever much hype around him. The pick was questioned when it was made. Sure, call him a bust.

I will admit I wanted max jones. He just started playing a little more regularly but also for a mediocre Anaheim team.

Only real notables imo. Debit at in second round. But in the second round we also drafted hart laberge and Allison.

Yeah. I’d say two more years. I think/ hope the time in the khl will be positive. I also remember reports of him struggling with the language barrier. Who knows. It seems whenever he gets his confidence rolling he gets a major injury.

Take as much time as you need haha, how many guys are ahead of him knocking at the door though?

To me it’s not their first two lines. It’s the supporting cast and suspect d. I actually think their d may be a little better this year. But with trading away picks every year they have almost no system built up. Crosby was a draw for players for years. But now other teams are providing that interest.

just read the Athletics review on the Flyers best in the farm system, you can see the depth, just from a luck standpoint they should end up with 3 NHLer's and hopefully one surprise.


Then you see the Nucks maybe clearing space for Hoffman. Hoffman would be an instant upgrade on the O side. I would think he will be playing for a long term contract, you might see him have a great year.
