Ask the Eagles how long ago the Super Bowl championship feels already.

Not for me, Bill. That was a catharsis.

Nick Foles has a story that old time Eagles fans often come up to him to thank him and congratulate him, and they cannot get the words out and they start to choke up.

Its the same with me. Sometimes when I try to explain it all to other people, out of nowhere it hits me again and I have to stop and compose myself.

That made a HUGE difference and I am certain it will for the rest of my life.

I'd say probably 80-90% of the people who post in this forum either weren't born or aren't old enough to have appreciated seeing this franchise win. /quote]

On an unrelated issue, are you serious? Everyone here seems old as all (frank). Yesterday people were grooving about pre-Eagles Joe Walsh! Joe (frank)ing Walsh!

I say this not mean spirited in any way, but I’ve noticed what at least appears to be a decent chunk of people on here that at least contextually appear to be in their 40s to 60 and the fact that everyone can at least embrace technology to the extent to rock out on an internet chat board is pretty cool. As much as I do think we are vastly out kicking our coverage on how we are advancing some areas, it does provide some neat platforms that wouldnt otherwise materialize

I wanted them to explore the option of keeping Foles and trading Wentz. Foles would have been 12 million cheaper, which could have bought one more piece. Foles also fits in better with Doug's offense, and then Alshon wouldn't have been going around complaining about Wentz (can't wait to see that rat leave next year).

But in the NFL, you don't just trade guys like Wentz at that age. Teams are too scared of what happens if it doesn't work out.

Does it take a lot of savvy to get on an Internet board? Don't underestimate us codgers.

I’m not saying it requires an internship with nasa, but there are a lot of people who struggle. I think openness and adaptability to new things is a good trait regardless of age.

Haha codger.

You will be surprised how adaptable people are once outside their socially imposed norms.

One of the biggest recent problems in retirement communities is STDs and unprotected sex. They have the fastest growing STD rate among all age groups.

I’ve heard that before and that’s wild. But at a certain point, does it matter? Just be glad it still works

Evidently it matters to them.

The "it doesn't work" issue has largely been solved, as you know, and there is a huge correlation between their demands for prescriptions and this phenomenon.

Do you still nurse the flame for Sheen Parveen as you used to 5 odd years ago?

I don’t think this is mean spirited at all...just really amusing. Who do you think invented all this technology we’re using? Steve Jobs and Bill Gates were born in 1955. Steve Wozniak Is 70. I’m 57 and I was taking computer classes in high school. My 85 year old mother opened an Etsy account to sell her handmade jewelry!
