TSN was discussing how all of these signings are "prove it" players.

Brodie needs to prove it was Giordano carrying him.
Bogosian has to prove he is legit and not Hedman doing everything.
Thornton needs to prove he can still play at age 41

Good for Brown though and the Sens can afford a few short term overpays while the kids are learning.

Great point but passers CAN pass back and forth to each other while Matthews finds the perfect open spot for a shot. The other teams D would go nuts.
