I think that it's a fair contract for Ottawa & for Brown, he's is important to the Sens & averages over 20 minutes a game in ice time.

Connor Brown is a gamer. He lacks the finish of high end players but competes hard every shift.

With Batherson coming, I think he may have to shift to LW if he wants to stay in the top 6.

He's also a great dressing room guy. I would find it hard to believe that there's a teammate he's played with that isn't fond of him. You pay for character as well. Good signing.
