I know. My response didn't come out right. - Michael Pachla
Now the long term question and I doubt they have the cap to do it. Especially with the d adjustments needed and possible tendy upgrade.
But, do you add Hoffman for 2-3 years now, with an eye on moving Samson and having a young guy progress into the rw in 2-3 years?!?
Hall. Eichel. Hoffman
Skinner. Staal. Samson
Olo. Eakins. Cozens
Grigs. Lazar. Okposo.
I just don’t think the cap works, even for a year. |

I think iD rather go with a center like Haula in that respect |

Like sabretooth said, trade a RHD |

I actually like that better. Slides Eakins down and puts lazar as the 13th until okposo gets hurt. |

Hall-Eichel-Olofsson
Skinner-Staal-Cozens
Ruotsalinen-Reinhart-Thompson
Girgensons-Eakin-Okpsoo - Pegullaville
Hall Eichel Thompson
Skinner Staal Cozens
Olofsson Reinhart Okposo
Girgensons Eakins Lazar
That could be interesting |

Trigger warning for Boss:
Given Reinhart’s production, and contracts signed by comparable players, he should account for approximately 8% of the Sabres’ salary cap, or $6.52 million. The lower salary provides Adams some flexibility in the short- and long-term, as he would prefer to have enough cap space to add at the trade deadline if the team is contending.
Reinhart is arguably one of the most underrated forwards in the NHL, and he rounded out his game in 2019-20 by becoming a more reliable player defensively.
Since the start of the 2017-18 season, Reinhart's 165 points are 65th among all NHL forwards — more than Nashville's Filip Forsberg, Vancouver's Bo Horvat, San Jose's Evander Kane and Winnipeg's Nikolaj Ehlers.
Reinhart's 44 goals at 5 on 5 during that span rank 55th — better than Detroit's Dylan Larkin, Vancouver's Brock Boeser, Colorado's Nazem Kadri and the New York Islanders' Mathew Barzal. Over the past two seasons, Reinhart's 115 points are 57th among NHL forwards."

He’s on jacks left wing. No doubt. He didn’t sign here to play on Eric staals line - Sabretooth9
Based on how they both play, I hope Hall does play with Staal. Be a lot stronger of a top 6 imo |

Hall Eichel Thompson
Skinner Staal Cozens
Olofsson Reinhart Okposo
Girgensons Eakins Lazar
That could be interesting - Mentalorgasm5
casey gets that top 9 spot over okposo
and if they tried reinhart at center, probably second line, but I doubt they will |

I see Sam as the type of player whose quiet game slowly builds year by year and his plateau leaves you wondering, "how did he get there?" |

That's the best 3rd line I've seen. Actually the best bottom 6 I've seen. I'd swap Hall and Skinner but that's just me |

Probably cheaper than Hoffman too. Now what’s your plan with the d?
Which rd are you sending and do you add a LD? I really. Really. Don’t wanna see Monte play LD. |

yes sir.
I just think hall likes the puck on his stick like eichel. they can only play with one puck. also, we already know skinner and jack click. |

That would also be very nice.
I wanted Ruotso and Asplund up this year. With the moves looks unlikely, but that lineup could be a way to really spread up the scoring.
Two legit MVP candidates separated to anchor a line. |

I think skinner and Eric staal will be fine together.
Hall and Eichel do like the carry the mail and like to handle the puck a lot. But I think they will feed off each other.
The biggest downfall of olofsson was his 5 on 5 play with Eichel. He’s honestly not the faster player in the world
Insert hall who can skate probly just as good as Eichel and score a lot. |

Hall and eichel are the two im concerned
Hall is a like a less talented version of Eichel. He is still highly skilled, but a tier underneath him. |

I think Monte would be the d-man to move and I'm of the opinion they could get a versatile Ben Hutton for around $1m for something like
Dahlin - Miller
Hutton - Risto
McCabe - Joker
