No just what I posted before, they have a number they want to pay for Reinhart, I heard 3 yrs 21 mill for him also. They had interest in Markstrom but no way they are going to pay a goalie 6 mill a yr. - SABRES 89
no just the single most important player on the ice... why would we want to get someone good. they get everything they deserve if the goalies are the same as last year... the only hope is Ullmark makes a huge jump, because Hutton is not the answer.

What’s the point in worrying about any of that now?
And even if there was legitimacy to that discussion,
there’s certainly no point in the day after day after day after day after day after day, etc etc etc etc etc
of constantly being negative & complaining
Of course the Sabres are a work in progress
And we all know Hall could move on after this year, and Staal isn’t a longer term solution
But that doesn’t mean they aren’t good move that we can be positive about either
We’ve had a new GM for a couple months
EXACTLY how fast is he supposed to turn us into a Cup Contender??? - jdfitz77
I'm confused...
What the (frank) are we allowed to talk about in the early portion of the offseason?

Other than the last 30 seconds I thought the finale was fine. They're never going to be "good". |

I didn't watch the last two seasons of the show. But the Trinity Killer season with John Lithgow was terrific television |

I seem to recall talk was that this off-season was going to see significant change in the roster. Some have suggested there would be shakeups with some players that fans would be surprised with. As I see it, there have been quite a few moves, up front, to bring in new players. But we haven’t seen anyone of significance moved out yet and I suspect more to come. Assumption is a d-man, possibly two to be moved out. Would love to see an improvement in the tendies. |

I like this Sabres team. There are areas that still need improvement but we are better than we were the last time we played.
I’m watching my giants play which makes me drink more heavily than usual. I think about how much you guys complain about the Bills. You have a solid team that is trending up. Wipe the tears and enjoy. |

I think that’s what drive me up the wall the most.
Risto-still here
Girgensons-3 year extension
McCabe-still here
3 pieces that have been here the longest are still freaking here
You can put Reinhart in there as well if you want since him and McCabe started the same time.
Where are the big roster shakeups???
Yes depth players have been changed but the “core” remains the same. |

Mojo but he was only here for one year regardless.
Hoping to see Hutton and at minimum of at least one of Risto/Montour out as well. |

I mean Hall and Staal May not be a part of the long term core, however those two players will have a huge influence on the success of the team next year.

They don't plan on letting Hall go, getting him was the hard part. |

It’s definitely possible to keep Hall around long term, however they would definitely need to do some maneuvering to make that cap hit fit.
Can easily kiss Olofsson goodbye after this year.
Also would mean all three of Risto/Montour/Miller May have to be moved to pay for Dahlin and Joker’s raises (if they aren’t moved this offseason). |

Good to hear. Cant wait to watch him. So this year is for Eichel and Hall, ok. Here we go! I could use a couple more moves and I do like the lineup. |

They know what they have in mind for Reinhart, price wise but also know that Dahlin is the next big ticket. He's not a 9-10 mill a year player. They have a couple D men that they can move but I think Risto is there last option D man wise they will let go. |
