What is the difference between telling it like it is and dropping truth bombs? Why is doing one pathetic but not the other?

My nickname is based on two things: (1) I let my hair grow out one summer during high school and also did not shave, and people jokingly said I looked like Jesus and (2) soon after that I played an online video game with my friends where we made a clan named after the jetpack ninjas in Ninja Gaiden.



We all had a team character name involving Jetpack

I also am an only child, though I never drank from the Buffalo River or 18 Mile Creek because I like being alive.

Speaking of, I'm currently alive, so I'm not old enough to have crucified Jesus or anyone else, though I guess you'll just have to take my word for it.

Sports have been a huge part of my life, and considering I live in the Greater Toronto area I can’t talk Sabres with anyone else.

That’s what brought me to here. I didn’t really start posting regularly until a few years back. Used to just come here for Homer’s, Buffalo39, 89, and Homies rumours.

I might be in the minority, but I'm finding Fitz vs. Beady as Can't Miss Morning Backreading.

I'm quoting Fitz for convenience, but this is directed to a group of posters who (should) know who they are. This is a plea. I have no authority here, and you can all behave however you want.

Why don't you guys just not respond to each other at all? Washedup, too. And Hank. And whoever else this applies to (I can't keep track of all the idiocy, but you know who you are).

This type of poop is so (frank)ing stupid, and it makes this place a poophole. I don't care whose fault it is, or who started what. Just stop (frank)ing engaging, at least on the dumb poop.

Most (but not all) of you actually participate meaningfully in discussions when it doesn't involve each other, so it seems you're actually capable of behaving like adults. You want to disagree about actual hockey takes? Go for it. But that's not even 5% of the interactions you all have at this point.

You all constantly being bumholes is ruining things for everyone else. There were a lot of good posters who no longer participate here. Some of it probably has to do with the Sabres long-standing ineptitude, but I bet* most of it has to do with you lot and how toxic this place is most of the time.

Please just grow up and behave like normal adult humans.
