Does anyone know if the Sabres could walk from Ullmark's arb decision?

There was actually a line for that game? The couple places I saw, not that I was looking, didn't have one.

Yeah if he gets awarded more than the AHL minimum then the team gets to spin the price is right wheel and anything under .65 cents means they can walk away and kick him in the nuts on the way out

If it's over .65 cents then Kevyn Adams gets waffleboarded in the nads by Bob Barker and Ullmark gets $6m. At least i believe that's the way the CBA is worded

Lundell has 4 goals today.

Panthers got a steal at 12.

Congrats.

Yeah, I was happy he was there, I think the Sabres pick is what first made it look possible. He’s the player I hoped FL would get, thought Nashville was gonna snatch him away from the Panthers.

His Skating looks pretty good on this goal, wasn’t that the predraft knock on him?

Can't walk away from any arbitration amount Ullmark is awarded: Only awards higher than $4,538,958 carry walk-away rights in this offseason

I don't make too much of any of this. Guys file every year. It's their only leverage, short of a hold out or offer sheet. Always a chance things could get ugly, if they get to a decision. They usually don't get there. How hard is KA pushing these guys? Contracts so far don't make me think he's pushing too far.

I agree, just have a strange feeling about Sam.
Could be difficult. Seems like 1 year would be best for the Sabres? Basically punt again.

I think olloffson agrees to something like 4 years 13.5

Skating and perceived lack of offensive ability.

Lundell once fully developed will be a pretty good 2nd fiddle to his fellow country man down the middle in Florida

Worst case scenario he is a 3C that plays the tough minutes.

As long as Cozens pans out at 2C, which I like our odds but anything can happen, I’m sure we will really like Quinn too.

I understand the pick. gotta have good wingers. especially right wings if you're really trying to sign hall long term..... allegedly. 3cs I think are harder to find than top6 rws. 3cs should be easy enough to plug and play.

Interesting, but I think I reverse those deals. 4 for Sam, punting another year just hurts the Sabres and makes next summer a bigger mess (and it's a huge off season). I think you're pretty much moving him if you do that.

I bridge VO, with barely a second thought. I know you like him a lot, but it seems very likely he's playing a lesser role this year. Not that I'd hate the idea of him playing better and putting up fewer points. He's 25, don't think it's time to start buying out UFA years on him yet.

I'd be good giving sam one year, throw him in at rw3 on a line with eakin and olofsson and see what hes got. put up or shut up time.

Agreed on reinhart. Either move him or lock him up reasonably and sign hall. Maybe look to expose skinner to seattle if he doesnt bounce back

I like oloffson, he could be patrick sharp like for this team and I want to see him signed to a deal that helps this team in 2 or 3 years
