You follow your scientist, I follow mine, and everybody else follows their scientist Sounds reasonable. And chaotic. Which of those scientists gets to tell us when we can open stadia? I guess it depends on which scientist the person in charge of each state decides to listen to. - mohel
We’ll be interacting with each other normally (without masks) by July 4, 2021. Therapeutic medications are improving, more are on the way, and multiple vaccines will be approved & begun being administered by early 2021. Also, the virus is weakening (less lethal), as confirmed by doctors in Italy. Death rates are remain8ng relatively flat, even with the case increase. |

Last I read was that the latest mutation of the virus is more contagious, but less severe. |

It’s been available in the US for a long time.
McConnell wouldn’t bring it to Kentucky because Canada had a Liberal PM. - StLBravesFan
I didn't realize it was available other than on streaming services. Unfortunately, I live in the middle of nowhere, and only get satellite internet with almost no data. I just saw an ad on Comedy Central and started watching it a couple weeks ago. |

I think it should be commonly believed that Kane and Toews will never be traded. But if they are dealt, no time frame soon. My post just above explains why. Just know that trading the face of the franchise is not prudent when the roster is in the process of turn over to much youth. Now is not a time to expect maximum return. Expansion Draft and covid factors make teams nervous about a big trade. Don't you think? I mention this here because this particular talking point is not really covered in my post above.
Further ADD: i vote no on trading either. Just draft and develop well. We should have two early choices in 2021 and 2022. Plus Dach. And the rest of the prospects which is a rather long list. Better, deeper list of prospects than we have had ever - jhawk59
Agree with you. Just a fun exercise and interesting video i watched that's it.

Saw this mock trade on YouTube today one for kane and one for towes that i found interesting.
Kane to Colorado for
1st newhook and bowers and eric johnson contract
Towes to Carolina for
Hayden Fleruy jake bean jordan stall and brady
skeji a 1st. Stall and skeji to make the money work then flip those two for more assets.
Theo maybe have blog with mock trades for the core four just for fun. These are not my trades just something i watched so don't get your panties in twist GP. Thoughts? - Scott1977
No to both. I'm interesting in team's 1st rd picks but not bottom of the 1st particularly. Getting firsts is a big deal in a rebuild but these players are worth more especially kane. With their huge contracts you cant expect to get a huge return but I want at least a 1st and a TOP end prospect. Not one or more disappointing prospects that the other team has nearly given up on. |

I helped my neighbors with their car, I'm pretty handy that way, got them on the road, went there with a mask on and they teased me about it, get a text from them 2 days later to inform me they tested positive with Covid and if i feel any symptoms i should get tested, yikes. Nope no symptoms fortunately and it goes to show you never know. |

Ok trying hard to not jump in and offer advice...
I gotta tell you my Schitt's creek story:
Last night my wife and I turned on the netflix finale season and we both looked at each other and said were saw this and all of them...we know it was early in the year (it would have to be in April) and didn't didn't watch them one at a time, we powered through them as a group in 3 days maybe...We REMEMBER and was SURE it was a in a Netflix Cue type thingeee...We don't think it was on regular cable and friend said maybe we watch on Hulu...I almost called Netflix (waiting form a week day, lol) and was gonna make a ridiculous call and ask, Did I somehow get the Netflix feed of Schitt's creek earlier than everyone, a goofy call to begin with!
We just want to know where we watched them.
I guess we Arte now officially home too long.
I have one of the top 100 investment firms...my hockey boy neighbor also invests peoples $ for a living. Both say no matter who is President there will be taxes to rest things. By and large the big boys who haven't paid tax in scores of years will be handed the burden.
I have never had an issue with paying taxes as long as the benefit the ones in need, and don't subscribe to that idea that "I want my money to spend it and help those I want to help. There are far too many things needed to get done, two I have no problem paying even though I am not in that $400,000 bracket the rest of you are in... |

Anyone know anything about the pro prospects of Wyatt Schingoethe? He was recently drafted in the 7th round by the Leaves. He played as a Ute with a good friend's son, but he (of course) moved up the ladder fast. Nice kid, just curious to hear any input. - mohel
I do!
Short thick centre-wing who does many things well, and comes with a heavy game. Has good feet a powerful stride, good vision and puck skills. Has soft hands in close. Plays a grinding style with straight line speed and power At times lacks consistency, pace, and creativity at this juncture. Is good on the cycle wins baord battles and is an asset on the penalty kill as well as a net clogger on the power play. Has been inconsistent...looks to possess many attributres that make him look like he could help an NHL club, if he becomes consistent in his intensity and play. Has a big time shot amd enough tools to be an NHL role player.Committed to the University of Notre Dame. |

IF the Wiz virus comes:
...and it is similar to the current cooties.
You quarantine to stop early spreading.
You set up instant tracing apps on phones that can be easily dropped when the Wiz virus is over.
We shut it down six weeks. STAY HOME. Then before opening, I have instant results tesing sites and all are tested in the next six weeks after we open everything back up.
If in the first three weeks there is a spike, shut down all but essentials.
Nice of me to decide I can handle the next pandemic.
The fact remains is like the flu, we are going to be round this one for more than another year or two.
Like all of you I wanna see my grandkids live, and want to be in a real new normal.
I just think that we aren't there yet, and Bettman is smart in his hesitations and good in his baby steps...they rest of us are getting tired of baby steps and want to let the guard down and the slippages inter-family are spreading the stuff now.
Here I am worried because my county had so many cases, but cook county have ten times a many...so many more popped close to each other...this isn't easy, but it is good to see we aren't arguing about it here. |

I agree but how are we gonna acquire these high end prospects? If our draft record is any indication maybe 1 or 2 per draft tops, maybe more with some luck. We need to trade core players for prospects and high picks. Otherwise this "rebuild" will take forever. - ctbullets
2 - hi level prospects are twice as many as we have now (Reichel?). I am not counting Dach as a prospect anymore I refer to "prospects" as players not on the team and I admit, I am more focused on Forwards at the moment. Our top 6 Forward prospects are essentially non-existent. |

Absolutely, not saying you're wrong but we're supposedly in a rebuild yet have no prospects. My point is how are we getting them? It's either through draft or trade and you know who would need to be traded. Say we get lucky and draft 2 or 3 in the next 2 yrs when do you think they're impacting the blackhawks? Mid level prospects aren't going to move this rebuild at enough of a speed. I don't wanna move toews or kane but how else? First rounders? Ok that's in 3-5 yrs they mature. We NEED to move top 6 players for high end prospects nearly ready to go. Or productive young stars |

Short term effects (Joe Biden winning the election) scares me more than the long term effects of covid. We are all going to die, we just don't know when. Could be tomorrow, next year, or 50 years from now. Not a political post. Just common sense.

3's are always wild with Pat Foley!
At least he got to see in his career that feat of a 3-3 tie at 13:33 in the 3rd. Just need to see the same thing but with 3:33 left on the clock. That would be a rarity.
I remember there used to be a Blackhawks prize drawing if a player scored at exactly the 10:00 mark in the 2nd and Marty Havlat pulled it off. |

Unless Rocky wants to wait 10 years, I highly doubt, 10 is a placeholder, 7,8,15 whatever, the Hawks will be supplementing the young emerging players they have with FA's when Toews, Kane and Keith are gone. The Cubs brought in 4-5 young players and then went big on Lester and Heyward. They did get lucky with a few trades for pitching (Arrieta and Hendricks). We have an overabundance of D-Man prospects hopefully they can be flipped into something else good? Stan or whomever is going to need some luck.
