The analytics guys like Bratt. He's got nice underlying numbers. The problem is that he doesn't get consistent play time so his sample size isn't large. I'd like to see them just give him an expanded role for a good chunk of time so we actually know what kind of player we've got with him. - Pomegrant
It’s because he’s not 6’4” 230 and full of truculence. |

0 grit/60 probably should just cut the chud from the roster already |

Can we swing a trade of Bratt for Pierre Leblonde wherever he is now? |

Alas, even this is unfulfilling, not a full rotation.... |

So..... How about a poll. Will P.K. rack up more points then he does negative in the +/- department. This past season he racked up a whopping 18 points, but unfortunately, lost to the minus, at -20.
So will his +/- total outweigh his point production?
I fully know this is the dumbest question possible, but we need something to talk about. |

I applaud the effort to keep the conversation going, and agree this stat comparision is meaningless to me, but I think PK bounces back strong this year. I believe he was an improved player once Hynes was gone. So I vote more points. |

Yes this question was a stretch to say the least. I like the optimism. It would be great to see him at least approach the 30 point mark, while being no worse then mediocre in our D zone. That would be a big improvement, but the former Norris winner surely can aspire for this.
Thanks for entertaining this notion. |

It's hard to believe this guy won a Norris. It's not like he's in his late 30s.. Guy is younger than me, bangin Lindsey Vonn. How can he be so bad? I think he puts up 20-25pts and is -18. so.. it'll be close. |

Maybe it's the banging Lindsey Vonn that's doing him in. If it was me, I doubt I'd have enough strength left for eggs and coffee in the morning. She's incredible.
On the hockey front... I think this is day 17 since we've had anything new from Roger. And it's not like the articles have been some deep dives into analysis or anything... which is fine but I don't think it's that much work....
AND besides Vitaly, Anton Volchenkov knew how to throw a nice hit. That guy was so fun to watch even when the game had sorta passed him by. Lyle Odelein was a nice old school defender also... |

true on all fronts. speaking of banging.. Hardest-hitting forwards to our memory? it's easy to say Janssen, but we've had quite a few bangers over the years. Love me some Bobby Holik. |

Those Odelein vs Matt Barnaby feuds were awesome! Remember when Barnaby called him Cornelius from Planet of the Apes? |

Absolutely. We get a new topic every 3 weeks unless Mussa is congratulating the Tampa Bay Lightning on winning the cup or he’s regurgitating a trade or signing which was already reported by all major sports news stations. |
