Were I still there, I'm not sure if my home would have also in the 856 zone or stayed 609. My family moved away while I still was in school—between middle and high school, to be exact. But to this day, decades and decades later, I can still vividly recall the number at the house I grew up in (we did move locally a couple of years before leaving the state), even though I've long since forgotten every other previous number I've had since then (except for my current numbers, of course). I guess it's a product of my folks making sure I'd be able to phone home should I get lost (or some other emergency), as I became old enough to be out on my own. That was when I was 6 or 7, or whatever the age was following kindergarten. Nowadays that's too young and it would be akin to child neglect, prompting scrutiny from the authorities.

No. I'm recording my biography all over the internet in small parts here and there. Waiting to see if AI can put it all together. That's when I'll know to make my escape, before Skynet takes over the world and comes hunting for me.

I'm not this "crims." Nor am I: "CrimsKiller," "Crimson17," "Crimsoninja," "Crimsonium," "CrimsonSamurai," "CrimsonSkorpion," and "crimsontide" (all found by searching here). Nor am I any other previously registered user before creating the account I'm currently using. Nor will I create any other account.

I've ignored it all my life. Like I ignore your "great runs." So should you.

neither of these two things are ignorable. Especially your novellas of low quality posts or spectrum level GIFfing.

And it is hard for me, or anyone, to ignore my GREAT runs because they are so GREAT

That goal for the NBA is not "likely" at this point in time. It's just something that they're aiming for. The NHL's goal is for a Jan start, also just a date that they're aiming for. But both leagues don't have any of their plans set-in-stone as of yet. The NBA is in a better position because it can begin a season with no fans in the stands and make some revenue from its TV contracts, although they'll still be financially in the red if they do. The NHL, however, can't operate for long with any of its teams not allowing paid spectators, as some owners have publicly stated.

Likely because:

1) The NBA has 1 exception team, Toronto, the rest are in the US. Logistics might be easier (ie: move 1 team to the US somewhere).

2) NBA makes a lot more money from TV deals than the NHL, so their break even / loss scenario is not as risky. About 50% of NHL revenue is tied to ticket sales and arena revenues.

3) Players and NBA feel it is important to have their Christmas Day tradition games on TV, big sponsorship money ties to that.
