You and I are never going to agree about the superiority of dictatorships over democracy, the necessity of serfdom, the benefits of an aristocracy, the inherent inferiority of the female gender, the virtues of public butt floggings, and that the best place for sons of toil is under tons of soil that is itself littered with the ash of fine Havana cigars.

So why try?

From a Flyers standpoint there's not a dire rush, is there? They may be high on him—as they should be. But has he really played enough NHL games yet to demand a big pay increase? But I'm sure they're already negotiating behind the scenes, regardless if Fletcher is trying to work on making other moves.

I heard they had a Zoom meeting set up with the new Sabres GM to discuss a trade where Myers goes for Eichel and Dahlin.

But they were repeatedly Zoombombed by Flyers fans who were angry about the trade.
