Red Wings aren't signing Sergachev to an offer sheet. He likely wouldn't sign it anyway. Next year's 1st will be at least top 5 maybe even 1st overall. Yzerman is hoarding picks not trading them away. There's no need to fast track the Rebuild like Buffalo did.

Where exactly are the Rangers getting the Cap space to sign Barzal to an offer sheet? Fantasy Land? They don't even have their own 2nd round pick. Detroit has it. (Staal trade).

The players they have NOW perform well. What the Flyers need is better smart signings or a bargain trade that helps a team become cap compliant. Making a trade now to fill one hole while making two others is the worst strategy right now.

I should have added Salary retained, was my intent. Hopefully use any retained to shore up goalie and LD post trade. I think this could make Sabres instantly viable with a Goalie tweak.
