TVA's numbers drop violently when montreal doesn't make it or is eliminated early and causes them to lose money
- mr.peanut

and/or I guess the numbers spike ferociously when they do make the playoffs, which compensates for other years... but yeah the last few years have probably been pretty harsh financially lol

see, this is why I'd like a clear explanation. maybe it wasn't because of the chicken, you know... pretty funny if it is though because it stayed there the whole god damn time before braiden unlocked the thread and erased the "potentially illegal" post lol

even if someone said it wasn't because of the chicken we'd still blame you and the chicken post. it's just who we are and what we do. so if it makes you fEEl any better, it wouldn't change anything anyway!

interesting indeed, although I don't think they address the question of the potential losses of not playing at all VS somehow absorbing a 1 billion dollar loss with no fans in attendance.
- Pat1993

in the video, it is said that the players get paid for the games they play. If they play 42 or 48 games, they would be paid for that.

But if there is no season? We have to believe that the players would not earn a dime.

So how the owners lose more in that way?

The money lost is the potential revenue.
