I cant say if he was or not, I don't know enough about the kids situation.
- Santo_44

What does his situation have to do with dipping a sucker in the urinal and giving it to a disabled child.

Most likely yes. Probably the biggest bumhole around.

Did he come out and say he's sorry? That he changed?

I honestly know nothing about this story.

This.

The problem here is people labelling an adult for something he did as a kid.

Which may have occurred for various reasons.

He's not a kid anymore.

He is an adult.

For the record, he didn't get a pass.

He was tried and convicted in juvenile court.

He was "...sentenced to 25 hours of community service and ordered to write an apology through the court system to Meyer-Crothers, participate in counseling and pay court costs."

Which he did.

No It is not the problem. The problem is parents that give these issues passes and excuses.

I dont think there are many human beings denying what he did was awful...The fact we are talking about it right now is the problem.

He was 12.

I found it hilarious that Warzone put up a message before every game about Black Lives Matter earlier in the year but players are literally named N-Bomb (the actual word).

Like, really?

Thats not the issue here.

Its the fact that he is an adult now, and given you or I have no clue about the situation he is in we can not give our opinion on what type of person he is.

I work in the mental health field. I dealt with it in school. I have worked with plenty of "bad" kids as you put it, who have done some poopty things who are now great human beings.

Kid is being drafted into the NHL. I am a fan, I am allowed to have an opinion. If you don't like, too frankin bad...

My daughter has 3 degrees, including her Master's in special Education, is US Board Certified and has her own Autism Center. I am on the disabled Kids side, if you haven't figured that out yet.

He was 12. He could have grown up. People do things that they learn from and regret. Especially kids.

Hold him accountable for his actions as an adult, not his actions as a 12 year old.

- Monkeypunk

Sounds like the kid was a complete douchebag and racist.
He needs to be accountable for what he did, and if he admitted to it in court, then it looks like something was done.

Now, this took place many years ago, the kid could have easily done a 180 since.
Hopefully he has.
But at the time of the incident, it sounds like he was a complete douchebag. Hoping hes change and had made amends

Hopefully she can teach you something about not making assumptions of a young kid, where you have zero knowledge on the situation.

"Occurred for various reasons"?
I agree, dont judge him on one stupid douchebag act he did years ago.....but there is no "reason" for what he did. Inexcusable.

Edit: i just saw that he was doing it for years and was 14. What a facker.

This exactly.

I just have a problem with people making assumptions of a 19 year old for something he did in grade 9.

Its sad.
