I'd say to 80% of the country he's a radical. Look how many people in the Democratic party can't get behind him. Things like free health care and free schooling are just mind boggling to people.
I'm watching a Masterclass with economist Paul Krugman, and he draws a link between the growing income inequality that leads to larger social inequality that spurns on political partisanship.
So basically if Bernie got in, taxed the rich and brought the standard of living up across the map, there's the idea they'd be much less partisan. But their partisanship is never going to allow that - NewYorkNuck
That theory makes a lot of sense to me. If the democats win I hope they pump a lot of money into education, bringing the minimum wage up and providing healthcare to help alleviate a lot of their social issues. We all know if the republicans win it's more tax breaks for the rich, no social coverage and turning education into basically a business... if you have money your kids get a good education... if not tough luck.

How much longer they going to keep airing those Markstrom car dealer commercials...? Oh wait he's still in Canada. So SNP is fair game lol must be a lot of local Flames fans.
Going to be an interesting for years seeing him and Tanev square off. As long as they lose and not have it be a Ducks duo a la Kesler and Beiksa that was rough. - NuckUp
The company paid the man, can’t imagine why they wouldn’t get their money’s worth |

I just hope the Dems win by a large margin on in-person voting. I don't want to see this be dragged out for a week with conspiracy theories from president Qanon. |

Do you think Putin will let him seek asylum in Russia, or do you figure he is done with him and his family? |

He'll try to make Trump as relevant as possible to keep the US as split as possible along racial, political and economic divisions. Wouldn't all be surprised if Trump will immediately started to run for president in 2024. Hopefully the rest of the republicans realize they shouldn't go down that road.... that's why it's super important Trump get's absolutely crushed at the polls next week and I think he will be... but the electoral college could still F it up. Biden could win by 6 million and still lose the electoral college. |

So Leivo was offered essentially the same deal by the Canucks, but he chose the Flames......why? The Benning cap mismanagement factor? The Markstrom factor? All of the above? |

Same with Tanev & Stecher, unreal. I don't blame any of them for bolting, they all got tired of waiting on Benning. If it was a negotiating tactic it obviously didn't work out too well.

Tanev got 4 years. How stupid are you that you would offer tin man 4 years? Stecher is (frank)ing garbage. I do miss Toffoli but I’m glad the rest are gone |

"The fact the #Canucks made a similar offer and (Leivo) ends up going to Calgary, to me has to be a little bit of a concern. As we go forward into a world where Pettersson, Hughes, Demko get paid...to build a team you need to win some negotiations at the margins"

We have talked on here quite a bit about how over the last couple seasons about how many of us didn't expect to see more than a handful of the same players on the Canucks roster, well people, the transitioning to a different lineup is happening and will continue to do so, whether the players are fan favorites or not. |
