I'll openly admit I'm horrible at trade proposals and this blog showed it, haha!

Just have fun with it and I'll be back on the serious train with a new blog tomorrow.

Or perhaps a trade goes down today...just not any of the ones I suggested

I’d make a second account if I was going to publish wet dreams onliine, personally.

Every single one of these are utterly ridiculous and you overvalue these aging and worn out players by an unfathomable margin.

The Kane for three first round picks, a top line winger and top 2C prospect is especially hilarious. All you held back on was a night with Kim Pegula.

Yes, I get that you’re trying to be funny but why not just state you want the penguins top 3 players for a signed autograph of Shaw? Don’t stop there. Why don’t we just ignore salary cap and choose the best player from each team in exchange for 7th round picks, for the next 31 years, everyone has to stand in line for theirs don’t be in a rush.

You’re a fan, you drink the koolaid, I get it it’s cute, even funny, but funny like hehe not funny like haha

Realistically? I don't think that's off the table.

Theo likes the potential in Delia over the consistency which I suggest Laakinen brings. However both goaltenders need to stay sharp and that could be a problem.

If we did negotiate a bunch of first tound selections through such trades, MAYBE (?) there would be a goaltebder to snag. Even if taken just a tad early.

All the eggs are in one basket if you are waiting on the Commosensa kid.

- jhawk59

Lankinen could very well one of the two in net in Chicago. I feel he is more even keel and composed than Delia, i.e. soft goals don't rattle him.

Delia is either really dialed in or a sieve. A lot of times not middle of the road.

My gut feeling is it will end up being Subban and Delia to start the season but we'll see how training camp plays out.

Where's Elbows today? He loves these trade proposal blogs and has been all over Stan dumping the Core.

I kid...actually the guy I'm surprised hasn't shown up is Scott1977. This is his thing. I thought his posts would be all over this blog. Someone better check on him.

I was joking about those guys.

This is my real proposal. No salary retention on any piece. Including Kane.

Reinhart, Ristolainen, Mittelstadt, Mattias Samuelsson, 2021 1st and 2022 3rd.

I think it's pretty fair

- jcragcrumple

Just because you put a lot into the trade doesn't make it fair. Reinhart is okay but the rest other than the first is garbage.

Risto sucks. Mittelstast is a bust. Samuelsson would be in the 7-10 range for D prospects on the Hawks and the 3rd is obligatory. Plus two years out.

Great job Theo getting them to bite. I appreciate your attempt but i mean really at the end you should of stated it, not a real Buffalo team that's just cruel.

Fun entertaining blog but seems to be like the term "no trade clause" applies not only to player but the team. YOU CAN'T MOVE EM Toews and Kane cost anybody so much against the cap, that the true value of them, is to the Hawks. You want to clear that 10,5 cap space but you'll have to retain some salary, which they are doing already. You could get a good return with some other team's high end prospects and high picks, but the hold up is the cap space they will take up. Maybe ... but don't know if there is a team out there .... for the 10.5 in cap space the Hawks are on the hook for, get two young players that are making around 5 million, that could be part of the rebuild. I don't think that exists

The reality is what I would want from the Sabres is something they would incredibly stupid to trade.

More importantly to me, there is no way the Hawks don't lose any trade involving Kane or Toews to a lesser extent.

Agreed. I still think that of the core left, Toews and Kane will remain loyal and be lifelong Blackhawks. If any of the core ask out, my money is on Keith and Seabrook.

Pittsburgh Penguins have added Trevor Daley to their staff as a hockey operations advisor. The 37-yr old has retired from playing professional hockey after 16 seasons w/ #GoStars, #Blackhawks, #LetsGoPens, and #LGRW with 1,058 GP and 309 pts in a career lasting from 2003 to 2020.

Based on those trades the Hawks would probably have very high draft picks for the next two years. Probably in the top 4 picks. You have to consider that also. Chances are whomever they draft could crack the lineup that year or the following year, as has been the trend the last few years.

Source: The Blackhawks are unlikely to trade Kane, Toews or Keith during their rebuild.

no idea who this is but this goes completely against what Stan wants to do. so basically we will be mid lottery for the next 3 years. you need to get mutiple #1's and and high end prospects to really rebuild. at this point we have no top pairing D in the prospect list and priobably 1 forward in Dach. Kubalik and CAt are fringe and need to see how they progress. if kubalik is 20 goal guy he is 3rd and if Cat is a 25 guy he is also a 3rd liner. mostly because they are AVG at best in the other aspects D, passing, skating, cycle, etc.

Stan said they are not going to tank and he is not going to trade core vets. I don´t know where people get these ideas?

Seems odd to me that he isn't listed as the first guy at least to start.

I get it that none of the 3 has ever proven he can be the guy, but seems to me from the limited time I've seen them, LAKES has preformed the best.

Delia, I just don't get it. He seemed awful to me when he was up

I kind of aasumed it was understood that we were rebuilding if he is not tanking and he is not trading the older players what is the difference then what we did the last 3 years. he says his goal is to get back to cup contenders and stay there year in and year out.

AHL discussions about regular season games staying regional. For the Hogs, that would mean tons of games against the Chicago Wolves and Milwaukee Admirals and possibly expand further out to the Iowa Wild and Grand Rapids Griffins.

The Cleveland Monsters is a little in no man's land between the Midwest teams and Northeast teams but not particularly close to either (6 hour drive one-way at least for the Hogs).

Nothing has changed he said. They are just more open about the way. There are plenty of interviews out there where Stan explains like everything. You don´t have to agree on it but it is what it is.

I think the change is they shipped out Crawford (didn't resign but same difference) and Saad.

Those are big pieces leaving and it forces the front office to come out and state the rebuild is on.

I guess calling it a youth movement and trying to stock pile draft picks and young players while keeping your core aging 3 makes no sense what so ever. I guess I did not think he was that dumb. So yes I do not agree. I just cant think who would think that is the best approach. Im not saying dump them all. kane and teows would be hard with the flat cap. but you have to open to it.
