Not everyone can be a blinders on cheerleader. - Marwood
Sounds like you're getting your English from NFU – and even then I highly doubt I'm in the cheerleader grouping – but you can Ek have fun being the "watchdog for society" |

Why is that funny? Protection slots are valuable. Take advantage of teams with better depth - CanuckDon

I've watched Lind play several times in Kelowna, I think he's a good prospect. Trade him if you don't want/value him. - VanHockeyGuy
I saw him play in Victoria the year after he was drafted, looked fairly unimpressive to me, but could have just been a poor game for him. |

Paper Roussell down(If he would get claimed he likely would have been traded by now) and all of a sudden we are 500k below the cap. Roussell can play during preseason and I would wager Ferland doesn't last to the end of pre season before he is out again. Now you can bring Roussell back up. If not, then you make roster decisions at that time. Gives us another player that allows us the opportunity to ice the best team we possibly can. If a 3m beagle or roussell don't make the cut, have fun in Utica(?). - Retinalz
Here’s the flaw with this: there’s no such thing as “papering” players down. You can put Roussel on waivers, send him to Utica (or Abbotsford or wherever), call him up etc. but if you run with a 20 player roster (sending down bear, rous, lui etc) and someone gets hurt, just a little, not 10 games worth, there is no salary cap relief. You bring up a player to cover and that money counts against the cap. So being tight to the cap with 20 players is a VERY dangerous gamble. |

The hilarious part is, JB could decisively make several bad moves but the slurper's will still show their unwavering support. |

Ricky D just said on 1040 he spoke to Podkolzin’s GM over in Russia, he said the kid needs to work on his shot, it’s just not good enough to score in a men’s league. He’s having trouble scoring because of it.
Something he can take upon himself and work on to improve. - Pacificgem

I think he’s done more good than bad. Ultimately he’s prepared this team to be good for a while but also hamstringed it with some bad contracts. He’s also gotten better. In the last few years the only move that sticks out as bad is myers, and a lot of people seem to like him. Well see how schmidt works out, but bith that and Miller seem like steals to me. But somehow he’s still only good at drafting |

My point is Slurpers would never acknowledge JB ever made a bad move. Spin it anyway you want.

It’s important to find the mythical GM that never makes a bad signing or trade. There are a few lined up to take over apparently |

I don’t mind roussel. Beagle i never liked but he is the kinda vet you want. Schaller is the worst of the three. |

It’s all of them that don’t work in Vancouver, because GMs don’t actually make mistakes anywhere else |
