That’s not what he said at all, but cool that you spin it that way to fit your narrative.

I quoted him saying he lost respect for Orr as to his political views.

A Buddy passed this on to me, enjoy.

I mowed the lawn today, and after doing so I sat down and had a cold beer. The day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking.

My wife walked by and asked me what I was doing, and I said, "Nothing." The reason I said "nothing" instead of saying "just thinking" is because she then would have asked, "About what? "At that point I would have had to explain that men are deep thinkers about various topics, which would lead to other questions.

Finally I pondered an age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts? Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts, but how could they know?

Well, after another beer, and some more heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with an answer to that question. Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby, and even though I obviously couldn't really know, here is the reason for my conclusion. A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, "It might be nice to have another child."

On the other hand, you never hear a guy say, "You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts."

I rest my case. Time for another beer, and then maybe a nap.

One of the greatest......but because he doesn't have the same views as me....EVERYTHING he's done doesn't matter.

Sounds legit

Thanks generation now.

Oh yeah, thanks Carol

That's the point escargot-man.

Devaluing someone over an opinion.

Losing respect for someone (personally) and discounting their accomplishments (professionally) are two completely different things. I have no respect for anyone who supports Donald J Grump. He is among the worst humans on the planet, is the worst president to have ever “lead” the United States and anyone supporting him is a complete moron. I wouldn’t shake Orr’s hand if it were offered now.

I guess you are better than me as a person then.

Trump is the greatest modern day president to have ever ruled through a pandemic and it's not even close. All these crying liberals are going to be so butt hurt after he becomes the only 2 term modern president to rule through a pandemic.

JB's statement he's okay waiving vets has me thinking that they may go with a thin roster so they can add a top D and F to fit under the cap.

Though this would need Ferland to go on LTIR as well. There are many ways to get that done with his health uncertainty.

That endorsement will put a giant sh!t stain on how he is remembered. I no longer have respect for him. Just like I no longer respect the people I know who support Donald Chump.

It is disappointing to see a child hood hero in this light.

Now what about the assertion that Pettersson should never had agreed to the spitten chicklets Interview is that not similar by endorsing the on air actions of Bissonnette and Whitney?

In my opinion it's entirely different. One paid for a full page add actually endorsing someone with plenty of life experience.

Another appeared for an interview without us having any evidence he even knew of the misogyny allegations. I'm not disputing the allegations, just that he knew of them and what they implied.

I'm more inclined to look beyond such things with a young person that is just finding themselves in this world and adjusting to the spotlight thrust upon them.

Love me some narratives!

Edit: Am I guilty of ageism? Or should I hold an older person to higher standards because they've matured. Oddly enough, I was explaining wisdom to my eldest daughter tonight. She'll be 12 next month.
