I've been thinking about the offseason, I think we missed an opportunity with Toffoli considering what he signed for. - golfingsince
Couldn’t afford to re-sign him, bottom line. Right now patience is Benning’s best friend, keep building towards the future. Don’t put the cart before the horse, as they say.

TT walked before that deal. Prove me wrong. - VanHockeyGuy
What was reported(google it) was JB was working on the Nate deal prior to TT walking. Either way he couldn't do both at same time given not being able to clear cap.

Love me some narratives!
Edit: Am I guilty of ageism? Or should I hold an older person to higher standards because they've matured. Oddly enough, I was explaining wisdom to my eldest daughter tonight. She'll be 12 next month. - golfingsince

Can't disprove a negative.
Linden has a buddy who has a barber, my buddy has a friend who who goes to a barber. Barbers also need their hair cut and the one barber went to the other barber. Anyways my dog walker talked to the one barber and that's what he said, zigzaged from the horses mouth.

Harvey your new hero over Brackett or is JB calling the shots?
"Harvey ran the Canucks’ draft earlier this month when the team did not select until the third round but claimed some intriguing, highly-skilled prospects in later rounds who may eventually outplay their draft position.
Harvey says he was nervous awaiting the Canucks’ first selection, hoping Finnish defenceman Joni Jurmo would still be available at No. 82, and was happy with the team’s five picks."

He could have if he hadn’t (frank)ed up the salary structure so badly.
Yup should have predicted covid and a flat cap back 3 years ago when he signed Beagle and Roussel. - Makita
Meh, Covid has nothing to do with it. The minions have been predicting this exact scenario for four years. If Benning hadn’t shot his load so early he could have signed the players he wanted, made the Smitty trade and still had money to burn.

Nothing wrong with losing respect for someone when you find out their a trump supporter. It doesn’t make his accomplishments less. If i find out a friend is a trump supporter, i lose some respect for them. Same deal.

I think Vintage said "you do you" and I'm ok with that.
How you, Vin, Ren, whoever wants to treat people , cool. I was making an observation, like everybody else. People are stating how they treat people on opinions. I was stating mine. You might believe someone becomes "deplorable" because they are not on "your" wavelength. I'm just pointing it out.
There is so much humor in the inclusive crowd being so bigoted.
