The original was so good...I know in my heart it's a franchise now, but she really was so nice, and everything was so fresh. - Darksyde
I believe every word of that. Want to know what the generic Ontario experience is like? It's not bad, it's just as Pete said, nothing to write home about. It's also kinda expensive for breakfast. For breakfast I'd always prefer a one off, mom and pop small diner. With a $5 tip you're still only spending like $12-$14 for breakfast and coffee |

He probably wants 5.5-7mil. Nobody has the space/cash that isn't a pile of poop. - AdamFrench
I think if he was asking for 5.5 it would be done by now |

I delivered the Montreal Gazette for her original tiny little snack bar. I was interested in cooking, and I talked to her one Saturday morning and she (unofficially) let me come and help out on Saturdays, I would help by doing small things, like squeezing orange juice, prep, light cleaning. She'd give me $10 and a breakfast for a couple hours work. She was amazing to watch work. Also truly a kind woman, I couldn't be happier for her success. I wholeheartedly blame her for love of fried bologna, lol. |

Oh absolutely. Good on her for her success and she likely got there for all the right reasons. I wouldn't blame her for a franchise not being as good as the original the same way I won't blame the late Tim Horton when my coffee tastes like burned tobacco spit |

He probably wants 5.5 from a good team. Only the poop teams have the cap for him. |

Well...two teams who could fit him would be Ottawa and Florida, but yea. Nashville on a one year? LA, Detroit or NJ on a one year as trade bait at the deadline? Not a lot of options |

First time I ate at one one was downtown TO 5 or 6 years ago.
The girls were all hyped and hell bent that we have breakfast at Cora, so we did.
Nothing special, they did manage to (frank) up my eggs benny order though..

The original had seating for maybe 20 people, and that's because they had a bar style seating area, only a few actual tables. It was right by Vertu/Montpelier train station. |
