You just don’t get it stupid. If you are negative on a Canucks prospect your opinion is worthless unless you have seen them live. However, if you are an advocate of a prospect scouting reports from 2 years ago are ironclad proof that players will be superstars

I’m undecided as of now if Pod is a 3rd wheel or dynamic pairing winger.

As a 3rd wheel he compliments any of our top 3 lines. How ready he is dictates where he fits in. If he proves to be more skilled then JV gets bumped if he doesn’t wakeup.

Hoglander is a real intriguing prospect I’m anxious to see.

Perhaps. Burrows was undrafted. Podz is a top 10 pick. No one saw those skills in Burrows. Not many GM's would pick Burrows top 10 based on his reports at the time. Not if they wanted to keep their job. Took Burrows half a career to put it all together. Hopefully Podz has a better path to the NHL being a top 10.

Before the recent draft, a lot of boards had Pod as a top prospect in the league, seen him as high as a top 10 prospect. He may not be a top 6 guy right away, but he definitely has top line potential.

Enjoy the season.

May not be worth it for the Canucks to send Eriksson to the AHL
Harman Dayal of The Athletic: Vancouver Canucks forward Loui Eriksson has two years left on his deal at a $6 million salary cap hit but only $5 million in total salary. If the Canucks were to send him to the AHL, his cap hit would be reduced by $1.075 million.

Because escrow could be as high as 20 percent next season, Canucks ownership could end up having to pay him more cash if he is sent to the AHL. (Dayal goes into greater detail on how works)

There are some fans who are hoping that Eriksson would retire rather than be sent to the AHL. It’s not known when the AHL season will get underway, and there could team movement as well. It’s possible that Utica could be moved to Canada and play out of Vancouver if the Canada-US border doesn’t open.

The Canucks did lose Tyler Toffoli and Josh Leivo, so he still may hold some value to the team. Having him in their top-six is not ideal, but they lack depth.

I find it amusing that Hoglander, who has struggled in the SHL and Podkolzin who has struggled in the KHL, are destined for the top 6 in the NHL when they get here.
I liked both those picks, but come on, these are 19 year old kids, give them a couple years.

Also, the likelihood of them playing top 6, when they get here, are about as likely as Lind will be top 6 next season.

I don't think Hoglander is struggling in the SEL. He's getting points. His 2 way play is showing some of the best stats in the entire league. He just had a short slump but that is fine and he broke it. He's not in a KHL career slump like Podz. He's not getting demoted out of the league. I'm seeing two sperate paths. Often going in opposite directions.

Yeah the video question was part of the follow up to a poster's list of JV improvements. Though maybe you're right JV's not in the Okanagan with Myers for the training but the treats. After doing bongwater bathsalt video cheezies does that lead to face punching?

Edit: Curios the stoner trolls post face punching between buzz add of" Karate combat". Depicts 2 guys punching each other in the face. Monkey see I guess. Those who know martial arts would find that even more hilarious.

Tricky...

Debate about a kid, who hasn't played a game, who's on the other side of the planet; about what his play MIGHT be like. (in the future)

or

The trying to defend choice, and not being demonized for making one. (I agree at least 1/2 the people will be mad no matter what)

I pick #3.

Find reasons to post muzak.

Freedom

I like your 3 points, the music choices meh, it is amazing to me how the cool kids can mock anyone that has hopes of a good player.

No hope guys, only perpetually failure, is what it is.

Didn't we come to the conclusion Podz is nether lock or bust but has potential for top 6 and floor of top 9.
