One side says 'fanboys think he's a top line winger, everyone says so'
Ha ha Losers!
The other side counters with 'ya'll think he's a bust'. Bunch of Whiners!

In all honesty, I've heard the "Immediately slot onto Petey's wing" projections a few times but still heard zero from the group calling him a bust. Thinking that group is fictional...

Needing to work on getting his shot off quicker and NOT having nautural offensive instincts are 2 different things. Which scouting report said Podz lacks offensive instincts? - NuckUp
30second Video clips from the KHL, that is all that's needed
I’m undecided as of now if Pod is a 3rd wheel or dynamic pairing winger.
As a 3rd wheel he compliments any of our top 3 lines. How ready he is dictates where he fits in. If he proves to be more skilled then JV gets bumped if he doesn’t wakeup.
Hoglander is a real intriguing prospect I’m anxious to see. - Nighthawk
I kind of think that this is a unique thought here, but I agree, why not wait until the player actually comes over, practices with the club on NA ice to see what skills he may or may not have.

I think Hogz skillset is a great match for Bo's line. It might be a little early for that when his season is over but his vision and playmaking abilities are up there and he does play the boards very well in case people are fretting about losing Pearson's abilities(apparently this is a thing). - boonerbuck
Podz >>>>> Hodz
Podz floor is a solid bottom 6 forward. Hodz floor is ECHL star forward.
Podz ceiling is similar to Bo. Solid top 6 2 way player who plays the right way and is always working on his game.
Hodz ceiling is top line PPG winger.
The odds of Podz reaching his ceiling is far more likely then that of Hodz hitting his.
I don't mind the pick, it's too soon to pencil him into the top 6, but he should be able to slot into the 3RW without much problem to get his feet wet.
I don’t think that Hodz has the skillset to play in the bottom 6. It's top 6 or bust.
I'd give Hodz a 50 50 shot of being an nhl caliber player.
I'd give Podz an 80 percent shot at being an nhl player.

hockeybuzz...where the refs don't like people making projections about prospects and debating why they feel that way.
busting your balls on you only seeing one side was said and not the other.... draw your own conclusions - NuckUp
Again, bullpoop. If I saw a single person say he was a bust, I would make note of it and even show my doubts on that claim. But of course you are going to tell me what I have and havent seen? Go away...
