I mean, I get these takes. A fair amount of Metro teams are better. BJs, Isles, Canes, Devils, and Flyers I get.

The Rangers are almost their own thing. They were at the peak of where they were going to be then, and were on their way down. Now they’ve had a very fast rebuild, and are heading up whereas they were beginning to decline prior. Kakko, Lafreniere, Fox, Panarin, Shesty - yeah. Zibby has come into his own as a leader. Lookin strong for the future. And present!

Pitt is keeping their fingers in the window jamb to keep it from closing. The Pens May be a rival, but I’m trying to stay objective when I see them slipping.

Washington has lost a step, but will still be a relevant playoff team. I think Samsonov might provide them with a last breath for a few seasons. Love Vrana and Carlson. Wilson I can’t stand, but I recognize that he’s a player who if was on my team that I would treasure.

I agree with you on this, also need to add MArty to that list. Without Marty there would not have been a single cup. Lou runs too tight a ship at times. AT least his teams are clean shaven, his players look all GQ good without the facial hair. His drafts for the past 12 years have been horrible. I think the train went off the track the second he got Kovy. Everything went down hill fast after that with the Devils when he ran the team. Ruined the chemistry, ruined the balance of contracts, Fined for end around contract he tried to pass through, Lost draft choice.....yeah in Lou we Trust..lol
