I guess it all depends on the state you vote in.
I felt confident with my mail ballot (technically a "no-excuse absentee ballot") because of the return delivery options and the rules/systems my state has in place for handling/processing them. One key aspect is the multiple fail-proof options for safely returning a mailed ballot. I won't list the rest of them, but my choice was to deliver my ballot in person back to my county's election office. But most importantly, I knew that in my state that my vote would be processed and counted as soon as my county's Supervisor of Elections office received it. I confirmed it via online tracking the day after I personally dropped my ballot off. BTW, that was just over two weeks ago, when early voting began in my state.
Early counting is the reason why results from a state such as Florida came in fast (and accurate) so soon after the polls closed, and why states like Pennsylvania that can't process mailed-in ballots at all before the polls close are just going to have take some time to handle the overload due to the pandemic.
But it ultimately doesn't matter. One way or another Trump is going to find a way to whine because that is who he is. A "WLB" (no offense to little female dogs). If it is him (and it's looking like it is) being sworn in on January 21, he's going to whine during his inauguration speech. That you can bet on.

poop, did you set a timer.... From everything I see It's a Trump victory unless PA officials pull some shennanigans. Also, even though the entire media gave Arizona to Biden, I guess that could very well possibly not be the case. Interesting.
But the best thing to come out of tonight, is the Democrats who basically encouraged Antifa or at the very least condoned it with their silence are getting a wake up call.
