I think what the results tell us that trump style populist-conservatism is popular, but not with trump

SNL are having Dave Chapelle as a host this weekend...I think it will be worth watching just for the monologue

I think in the states people can have a very strong "sense of belonging" to a party, compared to Canada. so there are tons of people that have always voted republican, and that would never break such a tradition, no matter who is leading the party... doesn't make much more sense, but it probably explains in part why it's so close.

We reelected the guy who already sucked but then had several racist photos from his past come out. So you know, misery loves company
