The average is still over 6 feet, 5 foot 9 is tiny, only the best of the best little half pint players make it.
How many don't? Most of them, too pencil hodz into the lineup at this stage is very pre mature.
ECHL all star, yes. Euro star on the big ice, yes. Top line wine in the NHL, no. - Pres.cup
Only the best of the best of any height make it, that’s not a valid point. As i said the average height is going down and the list of players(forwards in particular) 5’10 and under grows every year because the game is more about speed/skill and transition. Do you have any other facts or do you just not like small players cause they are small? |

So is the list of 6'3" players. Is there a point here? - Nelson19777
Drafted 5 9 players vs drafted 6 3 players, per capita more big players will make it vs short players.
Hogz is skilled, no doubt, so was dahlin and palmu.
My point is that I don't see him translating to the small ice unless he clicks on the top line and that's a huge ask.
Top line or bust....
My point is just getting some conversation going. |

I'm 6 foot three.... don't trust halflings.... most aren't good in the NHL, playoffs or on small ice.... they can't fight either, team toughness is a thing in the playoffs... I don't want is to become the leafs with a team of small, weak, skilled players who wilt in the playoffs. Johnny hockey is a good example of this. |

I like Hogz but I'm not banking on him, I am banking on Podz though as he's a far superior human being, as dictated by his stature. |

I bank on determination & a players motor. Too many players bust out without it. Wanna be in the best league it takes dedication drive then talent. |

No
Offence but “motor” needs to be added to list of banned words |
