Something is up with Hoffman, he is the only big name UFA forward that's not signed, maybe his past history off the ice is hurting here

Yeah I'm guessing gms are pretty adverse to their stars leaving due to one guy's crazy spouse.

Well numerous GMs are making offers and Ek said the signing is imminent. So I guess they aren't worried about the off-ice stuff. Power forwards don't grow on trees.

True...at least the part about trees, but neither do all star defensemen and elite two way forwards. Nontheless I'm sure you're right that he'll get signed.
