After the Reichel question, I decided to spend part of my evening re-watch last Christmas World junior now know Germany's #23 is Hawk property.

Reichel looked really good on the wall, and again in places he came in when his own guy couldn't hold the boards.
He is a strong on the puck player, he breaks up things sends what were controlled pucks flying to free ice after he engages puck carriers.
Dach like in his understand and "feel" for things.

The 1st game was against the US and it was the Stuzle show because the US chose not to attempt to close him down, they either had little respect for is soft hands ands speed or simply stuck to team defense which he walked around.

Second game in pool B was against the Czech team, and although J J Petercka got credit for the first early in the game goal, it was Reichels after taking possession and going L to R "around the horn" behind the net, he passed the puck, and then it came back t him as he moved from the wall a few feet over the attack side of the red line and skated parallel took the pass and against the goalie, he finally pushed it past the Czech net minder.
He clearly was pretty aware of his positioning and wasn't playing light as a lightweight since they Hawks will want his at about 188 eventually.
I think that it was easy toes why huis size would draw comparisons to Teuvo Teravainan...but there's more comfortably with contact and an ability that TT learned (to try and not get muddled after contact was made) already ther. Maybe playing with the older grizzled vest in the German league has hardened him and any fear of contact has diminished. Still a long way from the NHL, but I am not sure we wait all that long.

When Teuvo broke into the NHL with the Hawks, a criticism was his aversion to physical contact. I thought at the time that what looked to be fear was really him being smart to not get engaged in physical battles he knew he would lose.

Can’t believe NBC is preempting News and SNL while forcing a meaningless College football game on us today. Very poor programming choices.

Regarding football again; most here know I'm a "blame the players not the coach" first person. But Matt Nagy has shown me nothing.

Watching clips of something or other on NHLNetwork reminds me:

Damn, I miss live hockey with 20,000 fans in the building.

January? I hope so.

Not a ND alumni, but many personal reasons why I’m a big fan.

Well the other 99.9999999% of us who could give a flying (frank) about ND have a legit gripe.

SNL, and at least half of Americans had been waiting for yesterday for 4 (frank)ing years. College football is never deserving of National TV time IMO, and especially not last night. Wrong on so many levels. Lester Holt and Co had been sitting around for 3 days waiting for something to actually talk about, then when there’s actual news, he has to sit on his hands and watch his network air a super spreader event that relatively few people give a poop about? It’s madness. Someone should be fired. And ND should forfeit their next game for the egregious breach of COVID protocols when the game ended. What a bunch of ignorant and arrogant (frank)ing wieners.

Geez, I can see your "uncensored" version when I click "reply."
Either way, you're funny.

I thought I was watching the ND game. Then I got political content. If I need to pay up to watch ND on USA network...ok...lmk.

On another aspect of your comment that I'm sure most hockey people around here relate to and I will say...what sort of a privilege does a guy skate around avoiding contact? I never played that way, and I never understood how someone could play that way. Must be nice
