Hysterical. You actually prove my opinion on you of being an elitist by claiming that the IQ of posters on HB is low. In other words, everyone is beneath you intellectually. If we want to actually look at who is forgetting things, gets confused and cannot follow logic, all we have to do is go back and reference the recent thread where you asked a question about having family members in advisory positions in a presidential administration. You also show a pattern of being unwilling to directly confront those who effectively challenge you and instead make separate posts in commenting on an individual. You attempt to dismiss those that you can't handle. That is also a reflection of your poor character and morality.

There is always a lot of work to be done in this country and unfortunately, if the current vote projection continues, that will be a major setback for this country.

Average IQ, not everybody. Guys like Bendecko and Tomahawk, to name just a few people, are likely smarter than I am.

Saying average IQ is low could be an example of elitism, sure. It could also be just blunt honesty.

If my intent was to display my elitism by not debating you, why would I have done more to debate you than anyone in the history of this board? I often compose long answers to people and engage to the best of my ability. Some snippiness does come with the domain, but we are all human.

I gave you plenty of attention, day after day, page after page. Not all best shots work, nor are they in retrospect worth undertaking. You have some personal issues which makes debate essentially impossible.

Sorry about that.

Part of the work that has to be done in this country is obviously looking at things that aren't being done ethically and legally. How judges are becoming activists. A perfect example is how the PA Supreme court blatantly subverted Pa law. There is a separation of powers issue in this country. Not to mention all the laws that are being broken in Democratic cites in this election. Then we have a previous administration who used the IRS to target conservative groups. Refused to act to save Americans and a US Ambassador because they were running guns. Illegally spied on and targeted a political opponent and a president elect, including wasting millions of dollars and two years with a bogus partisan special counsel investigation. We also have a major political party who actually did collude with Russians and foreigners in an election to fraudulently try and damage a political opponent. Then we had a completely illegitimate impeachment trying to again take down a sitting president back by unelected bureaucrats who were unhappy that the elected President elected by the people wished to enact his foreign policy and not theirs. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Do you think any of this is damaging to the institution?

Much of what you wrote is rubbish. I will ignore it, as I will you again, after this post.

Some of the things you mentioned, such as activist judges, are a matter of philosophy, not legality. I disagree, but there is nothing intrinsically wrong in being a strict constitutionalist.

If those judges are acting illegally, there is a process to remove them. If you disagree with their opinion, there are higher courts which one can appeal to. There is also process by which you can fight to have judges favorable to your philosophy be installed.

The left has an equal number of issues and causes, some just as cuckoo. In advancing these causes, it has never had a President going around campaigning that Cory Booker will bring criminals to your neighborhood. It has never had a candidate say a judge born in Indiana was biased because he is Mexican.

It has never had a President whose strategy of debate was to constantly heckle and interrupt. It has never had a President who cooks up wild charges to cast doubts over electoral outcomes, while the courts of law treat them with dismissive contempt.

In coming together, one must set standards where discussions need to take place.

Many here, who stood by and supported this guy over the past 4 years, are not bad people or even dishonorable in their personal lives.

But in choosing partisanship over standards, in curating standards of decorum on HockeyBuzz while overlooking standards of decency and fairness that we have fought so hard to attain in real life, at least for me you will bear a stain of standing by and thus being complicit and I make no secret of the fact that I hold you in personal contempt.

Ok I am outta here for today.

Jesus, everyone shut up already. It’s over.

I know I stopped coming around as much, not because of MJL, but because of the constant little female dogy jabs being sent by a LOT of you people, and frankly it pissed me off because normally I enjoyed your input. I know you’re better than that. I expected more.

There is no single person who was ruining for everybody. A lot of you made it a poop show over the past few months, and you did it at the expense of the rest of us.

Thanks for that.

I hope now that one poop show is over, you can come to a close on this one, too.

Prove that you have done more debate me than anyone in the history of this board. This is just another example of how you think you're better than everyone else. All human beings have personal issues, including you, that's life. That's not relevant here. You won't debate anyone who can challenge you. Only those who you think you can bully. That's been proven over and over again.

This is a typical strawman response by you. You don't actually address anything that was posted. The entire left and Democrat party has labelled Trump a racist without any evidence of it. In fact the record and the evidence states otherwise. So spare me on what the left has never done. I could go on of course. Shall we review the comments of the "squad". Again, as someone who claims to be a scholar and an academic, you make some ridiculously stupid and ignorant statements.
The fact that there are remedies to remove judges or to appeal their rulings does not change the simple fact that the PA Supreme court circumvented the rule of law in an obvious violation of the separation of powers in ruling that votes postmarked by the close of polls can be counted. When PA law set by the legislature clearly states that votes have to be in receipt by the close of polls on voting day. They ruled by judicial fiat. They even ruled that votes with illegible or damaged postmarks should be considered as marked in time and can be counted.

It's also a guarantee that you aren't outta here for the day.

I’ve been saying this since Simmonds was traded.
- SuperSchennBros

Matt Martin is still available.

I would call vegas to see if reavers is available. The Washington games would be great.

IKR? They couldn’t help themselves, and now perfectly good hockey banter has been lost on a site dedicated to it, and it certainly seems irreconcilable.

Yawn.

PT21 consistently turns the thread in that direction. I'm on record as to wanting to keep it off of the thread so I'm a hypocrite in that manner. All he has to do is stop, and it will stop but he never will.

You are the one commenting back paragraphs , if you stopped it would absolutely slow down. He’s going to comment this nonsense regardless but more often than not you are the one that keeps it going. Don’t bite the bait.

You're not necessarily wrong but I will bring up or start a political discussion. I've also offered numerous times to PT21 to debate him in the Misc. forum but he is too cowardly.

With the upcoming expansion draft and the Flyers reluctance to sign someone to a multi year deal since it will stop them from protecting their core, who do you guys think could be a possible 1 year pick up on d-men for us? We need to bring in a rental type player to help bridge this year but won't cost us too much. Flyers are in a tough spot with young players and veterans that aren't getting any younger.

I thought he was a really good player and just needed to get acclimated to the N.A. Game. Obviously we weren’t in a position to let a guy figure it out for a good chunk of the season

Pulling out the race card, and crying racism anytime someone disagrees with you.

So modern.

The US showed just how stupid of a nation it is. Baited into a race war by politicians seeking power. Its youngest generation falling for the propaganda on social media every step of the way.

Jokes, memes, etc can be made about white people every day and its acceptable. Just accept the social shaming. Can be a proud person of colour, but that's pure racism if it's a white person.

Dare to defend yourself? Racist.

The double standard, is hilarious.
