Good. I like the slower, don't overreact GM-ing. Murray or Botts would've caved by now and given them 2 second rounders + Mitts by now. - kritter65
Unlike the Jeff Skinner trade Botterill made in early August 2 years ago? |

I’m looking forward to the staunchest Botterill critics to make excuses as to why we will have 85 defensemen and the same goaltending here once again with Adams as GM.
So far Adams has proven he can get a former teammate on a 1 year deal to come here, look like a rookie GM on draft day, and overpay 4th liners.
I’ve been half-kidding on a lot of the Adams posts, but Krueger’s relationship with Hall has saved this from being a really bad offseason
Not to mention the absolute failure of getting any RFA or pending RFA like Olofsson, Dahlin, Jokiharju, Reinhart on any type of long term deal, while guys around the league like Mantha, Toews, Weegar, Gryzlyk and others have signed

makes you wonder if it's sell sell sell next summer if hall walks and this team misses the playoffs in 20-21 |

I just think Adams has 0 idea what to do.
Which isn’t surprising. But he’s put himself in a corner of having to resign an entire team in a year so....good luck.
We’re on a path to take a nice step forward then two back |

It gives options.
Apart from Crosby, Malkin, and Letang how many other Penguins can you say spent more then 4 seasons in Pittsburgh ?
Assuming things go well and Hall wants to resign, how many other big money contracts can we hand out at this point ?
Eichel, Hall, Dahlin, Skinner is going to tie up a lot of cap dollars.
If it were up to me I would have let Skinner walk last year and have an additional $9M to play with but we really needed him this year to not make the 24 team playoff. |

pretty sure with what is coming out there in the last 48 hours
this is the one time an election will divide this country more then ever - homiedclown
Why should it? Sleepy Joe has known Moscow Mitch and Graham Cracker a long time and wad known for building bridges with the GOP.
It's an extreme narrative foisted upon a large, centrist majority of the population |

Well he isn't called Uncle Joe for nothing. Do you really think a different President would have stopped all those deaths. Maybe, I don't see that much of a change. It really comes down to the people of the country not taking things as serious as they could have. - Buff36
Not stopped, especially early, no. Later yes as he would have added credibility to science instead of dragging back into the Dark Ages |

there is no answer on how to handle covid
michigan locks everything up
5,000 cases a day
florida opens everything up
5,000 cases a day
each governor handled it different
largest amount of deaths came from nyc/jersey area, with decisions made by those governors
media has been after trump since he won, they are probably getting their wish and in doing so will make this country more divided then ever

That's what you and a good chunk of some 67M backers believe. Division was the platform wr lived through for more that four years but im these last for years it was taken to such extremes that it became intolerable for over 70M of the voting public. This was a rejection of that platform and it's ultimate exacerbator. |

They have to address each and every claim of fraud, and either debunk them or take further action if found to be true. Then we move tf on. We can’t have another four years with a great number of Americans thinking the President is sitting in a stolen office. The wisest thing I heard said on tv last night was that while it was of the utmost importance to count every legitimate vote to find the winner, it is equally important that the losers believe that they lost. Any shadow of doubt over this election can’t be allowed to drag on and on. |

He should have been more decisive, but a declaration was made on Jan 31 by the Department of Health, to give states and Governor's the freedom to do what they thought was needed and the scientific agencies to studying the virus. It was a failure on all fronts. But again it was something unprecedented. |

you can't kick out republican observers, who are legally allowed to be there and board up windows
judge says let them in, yet you refuse to and keep casting, errr counting votes |

Just because they made the wrong move with Eakin doesn’t mean that having flexibility is fundamentally flawed.

We both know what’s going to happen
They’re going to do whatever it takes to sign Hall, do absolutely nothing about Ristolainen, kick the can down the road and probably bridge Dahlin and trade Reinhart for some underwhelming return, and pretend it’s a win.
Signing Reinhart long term now would’ve went a long way in ensuring that they were pressured to move an Okposo or Ristolainen sooner rather than later |

This is my new favorite thing also. Suddenly the GM went from having all the responsibilities, to none.
I give it one year until the shine wears off.
Other teams have somehow managed to sign guys long term. The Sabres gave 1 guy a three year deal out of about 12 contracts.

Is definition of illegal when particular state is allowed to accept ballots post-marked prior the Nov 3 to be counted legally accordingding to state rules? Five of six retaining states whose republican legislature makes the rules?
Are these "illegal" votes in GOP controlled states like Az and GA that turned blue?
Should we stop the count (PA?) Or count all votes (AZ?)
Y'all are snowflaking to the point where its confusing. |
